There are five main categories:
1. White pot helmet: white pot helmet without any seasoning.
The difference between this and the Shaanxi white steamed bun (the one that makes the meat sandwich) is that the Sichuan white pot helmet is hollow, while the white steamed bun is usually solid (cut with a knife when making the meat sandwich). Of course, solid white steamed buns seem to be the practice of many businesses nowadays for the sake of convenience, in fact, it seems that the authentic white steamed buns should be freshly baked hollow buns.

2. Sugar helmets:
There are two types of sugar helmets: sugar-packed helmets and mixed-sugar helmets.
