China People's Memorial Hall for Victory and Surrender in the Anti-Japanese War is located at Qili Bridge in the east of Zhijiang County, Huaihua City.
1August, 945 15, the Japanese government announced its unconditional surrender. From August 2/kloc-0 to August 23, Japan sent Takeo Imai to surrender unconditionally to the China government on behalf of the Japanese government in Zhijiang, and the China government held a ceremony to surrender the China war zone in Zhijiang, which shocked China and foreign countries. In order to commemorate the great historical event of "the surrender of Zhijiang", 1947, the National Government built the "Memorial Workshop of the Surrender" in Zhijiang. 1995, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the surrender of the Anti-Japanese War, a two-story memorial hall was built on the right back side of the surrender memorial hall. Its construction area is 1500 square meters, and it adopts pyramid commemorative, arched national and roof local modeling. There are four theme exhibitions in the whole exhibition hall, namely, "Japanese invaders invaded China and committed crimes", "China fought a bloody war", "Zhijiang surrendered and went down in history" and "Remember history and cherish peace". In the museum, 436 precious cultural relics, 625 information photos and 43 weapons during World War II are displayed by high-tech means such as sound, photoelectricity and so on, which is known as the "Expo window for the victory of the Anti-Japanese War".
China People's Memorial Hall for Victory in the Anti-Japanese War was announced by the State Council in May 2006 as a national key cultural relics protection unit; In 2005 1 1 month, it was announced by the Central Propaganda Department as a national patriotic education demonstration base. It is a national-level AAAA-level tourist attraction and the China Overseas Chinese Federation's love and education base.
