1, Introduction of Zigong City
Zigong, also known as Millennium Salt Capital and Nanguo Lamp City, is a prefecture-level city, a medium-sized city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, a regional central city in southern Sichuan and a central city in the south of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. It is located in the south wing of the construction of the double-city economic circle in Chengdu-Chongqing area and the center of the southern Sichuan urban agglomeration.
Zigong city "set up the city with salt", and the word "Zigong" is composed of the names of "artesian well" and "Gongjing". It is also an important producer of dinosaur fossils in China, and is known as the "hometown of dinosaurs". Zigong Dinosaur Museum, one of the three largest dinosaur museums in the world, is famous at home and abroad.
It is the first batch of demonstration zones for industrial transformation and upgrading of old industrial cities in China and the national demonstration base for manufacturing new industrialized energy-saving and environmental protection equipment. It was awarded the title of "the hometown of pickles in China".
2. Location and background
Zigong City is located in the south of Sichuan Basin, bordering Longchang City and Lu Xian County in the east, Jiangyang District of Luzhou City, Jiang 'an County, nanxi district District of Yibin City, Cuiping District of Yibin City and Xuzhou District in the south, Qianwei County and Jingyan County in the west, and Renshou County, Weiyuan County, Neijiang City Central District and Dongxing District in the north. The jurisdiction covers an area of 438 1 km2.

There are 3 14 species of higher plants in Zigong, including 48 families 129 species of trees, 79 species of shrubs, 2/kloc-0 species of vines, 3 species of bamboos 13 species of ferns and 42 species of herbs. The national key protected wild plants are Alsophila spinulosa, Ginkgo biloba, Phoebe bournei, Cinnamomum camphora, Cycas, Red Bean Tree, Magnolia Officinalis, Rendou, Toona sinensis, Phellodendron amurense, Metasequoia glyptostroboides and so on 18 species.
