The way to make a pumpkin lantern from paper is to draw two pumpkins that are the same but symmetrical to each other on the paper, color them with colored pencils and cut them out with scissors.
And then use the line around the edge of the pumpkin, measure the circumference of the pumpkin edge, put the line on the paper, cut out a piece of wide paper strip as long as the line, fold a small section of each side of the paper strip for the edge of the adhesive, color the middle part of the strip of paper with colored pencils, and cut out a number of small saw cuts with scissors on the two small sections of the folded edges.
The saw kerf is smeared with glue stick, around the edge of the pumpkin and one side of the pumpkin face glued, and then the top and bottom of the paper strip with scissors to poke a small hole, put the color rope through, tie a knot, make a lantern handle and lantern spike.
