Title: Heartbreak Pacific
Lyrics: Chen Wu
Songwriter: Miyuki Nakajima
Songwriter: Ren Xianqi
Is it really cruel to leave? Or is it shameful to be gentle
Or does it not matter if you are alone? No days, no nights, no conditions
Is it really dangerous to be ahead? Or is betrayal thoughtful
Or is it easier to run away? The wind speaks and the wind blows the sand
A step forward is twilight? One step back is life
The wind is not calm, the waves are not quiet, and my heart is not yet at peace
An island that locks up a man? The boat I'm waiting for hasn't come yet
The person I'm waiting for doesn't understand yet? Loneliness silently sinks into the sea
If the future is not here, I'm still here? If the tide goes away, so does my heart
If the tide comes, are you still coming? The past comes to the surface
The memories come back and you're gone? One wave hasn't died down yet
And another wave is coming? The sea of people is stormy
The wave has not yet come to an end? Or is it shameful to be gentle
Or is it okay to be lonely? No day, no night, no conditions
One step forward is dusk? A step back is life
The wind is not calm, the waves are not quiet, and the heart is still unsettled
An island locks up a person, and the boat I'm waiting for is still not coming
The person I'm waiting for doesn't understand, and the loneliness is sinking into the sea
The memories are coming back, and you're not there anymore? The actual fact is that the actual actual actuality is actually a lot more than just the actual actual actuality. The first wave has already passed
A lifetime of dreaming and waking up in the deep Pacific Ocean
One wave has not yet subsided? The first wave is coming again
The first wave is too late? The wave has long since passed
Deep in the Pacific Ocean, deep in sadness?
Deeply sad at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean
Expanded:
"Sad Pacific" is a lyrical rock song (masterpiece) performed by Taiwanese Chinese male singer Ren Xianqi, with lyrics by Chen Wu, music by Nakashima Miyuki, and arrangements by Chen Aizhen and Zhou Guoyi. It is included in the album "Love is like the Pacific Ocean" released on August 28, 1998. The song is the ending song of the 1998 TV series "Divine Eagle Couple" starring Ren Xianqi.
Composition background:
"Sad Pacific" is a cover of Japanese singer Yuko Kobayashi's "Lucky. (Chinese: 幸福).
Ren Xianqi clearly remembers the shooting of the "Sad Pacific" music video, he and director Niu Chengze hit it off immediately, "because when I was young, I grew up in the family village, the gang complex in the family village naturally influenced both of us." At an age when they were young and unaware of the sorrows, every teenager in the villages aspired to be a big brother, as described in the novels, with love and righteousness, and for the sake of their friends, they would not hesitate to stick their knives in both sides, even if their heads were broken and bloodied - this became the source of inspiration for the story of "Sadness in the Pacific".
Song Appreciation:
In 1998, "Heartbreak Pacific" completely shook the Chinese music industry, and these two lines of lyrics are like Ren Xianqi's monologue before he became famous: he tasted all the loneliness, but never left.
