Hairy crabs can be sold after 5~7 months. Hairy crabs are generally cultivated in wetlands with excellent natural environment, no pollution, convenient water storage, abundant aquatic resources, shrimps, snails, clams and other benthic organisms. A certain number of aquatic plants are planted in the crab pond, which is beneficial to the crab's foraging, habitat, concealment, molting and growth. Regularly transfer water or add water, and the amount of water exchanged depends on the situation.
Catch hairy crabs by light trapping method or inserting nets in various canals from September to October every year. The caught adult crabs should be temporarily raised in cages for more than 2 hours, filtered by mud, packaged in bags, and transported to the market for sale.
