In general, skin test is not needed before treatment, but patients who are suspected of being allergic to calcitonin should consider doing skin test before treatment, such as patients with multiple allergic histories and being too sensitive to any drugs. The diluted sterile salmon calcitonin injection should be used for skin test before medication. The specific method is as follows: take 0.2ml of sealed breath with a T.B syringe. The injection (50IU/ml) was diluted to 65438±0.0ml with 5% glucose or normal saline, and after fully mixing, 0.65438±0ml intradermal injection was performed on the inside of forearm. Observe 15 minutes after injection, and moderate erythema or blisters will be regarded as positive reaction, which is not suitable for this product. The sodium content of salmon calcitonin injection per ml is less than 23mg, so it can be considered that this product contains no sodium. This product should be kept out of the reach of children. Influence on the ability to drive and operate machines At present, the influence of this product on the ability to drive and operate machines has not been studied. This product may cause fatigue, dizziness and visual impairment. (see adverse reactions), which may affect the patient's response ability. The patient must be informed that the above reaction may occur, and in this case, the machine cannot be driven and operated.
