2. Tangyuan won't sink in the pot after it is cooked. Most jiaozi will float on the water when cooked. This is the best case to distinguish.

3. When the outside of the dumpling becomes slightly transparent. And it feels very elastic, indicating that jiaozi is ripe. When cooking jiaozi, avoid jiaozi sticking to the pan. Sticking to the bottom of the pot will paste and it is not easy to clean.

Tangyuan culture

Eating dumplings is a traditional custom of Han people, especially in Jiangnan. There is a folk saying that "eating glutinous rice balls is one year older".
