Moxi ancient town
Moxi Ancient Town is located in the south of Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, on the east slope of Gongga Mountain Scenic Area and at the entrance of Hailuogou Glacier Forest Park. It belongs to the peripheral protection zone of Hailuogou Scenic Area and is the tourist reception base and entrance of Hailuogou Scenic Area. Moxi Town is about 304 kilometers away from Chengdu, 52 kilometers away from Luding and 70 kilometers away from Kangding. Moxi ancient town has a long history. Despite the vicissitudes of time, people can also spy out its long-standing historical traces from its numerous ancient buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. On the way from Mizoguchi by tour bus, you will pass through Camp No.1 and Camp No.2, and then through the beautiful virgin forest. If you are lucky, you can also see the beautiful scenery of "Rizhao Jinshan". Finally arrived at Camp Three for sightseeing.
Visitors who like to explore on foot can walk along the sightseeing road to the observation deck. It takes about 1 hour to walk from Camp 1 to Camp 2, and about 1 hour to walk from Camp 2 to Camp 3. Passing through the virgin forest on the way is very beautiful. You can see different high-altitude scenery along the way, and the small flowers are particularly beautiful. Most tourists live in Camp Two, where they can soak in hot springs. Stay in Camp Three, and you can get up at dawn and watch Rizhao Jinshan.
