John Travolta plays the leader of the organization in this film. It's hard to say whether he is good or bad. Unlike Nicholas Cage, who usually acts with his eyes, his eyes are much more melancholy. The former always has that cynical and meaningful smile on his face, which makes it hard to guess. The difference between the two can be seen from Lao Wu's film Face/Guan. That kind of bad makes people want to kill him, but you can't do anything about him. Sometimes that smug, supercilious look makes you angry.
In this film, his ideals and beliefs are really amazing, which is not comparable to ordinary gangsters. He wants the result, and doesn't care much about the process. Destroy your opponent without mercy.
