Friends who often read my articles on WeChat official account may know that I recently went to Jiangyong County, Hunan Province, visited Jiangyong's Dayuan Township-Qianjiadong Township, which was renamed only in the 1980s, and made a survey of the entrance of the legendary Qianjiadong, which was saved into an article and published on personal WeChat WeChat official account last month.
In fact, when I was writing that travel note, I had been to the entrance of the so-called Guanyang Qianjiadong and took photos, just waiting for some words to be compiled into an article.
Careful friends will find that there is a word difference between Qianjiadong in Jiangyong County and Qianjiadong in Guanyang County. It is estimated that due to copyright reasons, Jiangyong County, which has registered thousands of caves, enjoys exclusive naming rights. Later, Guanyang County had to change "caves" to "caves".
Friends who know a little about the history of Yao people know that Qianjiadong is the birthplace of Yao people, and Qianjiadong is a mountain basin surrounded by mountains. The only entrance to Qianjiadong is a small cave. After passing through the dark and narrow cave, it is like entering the Peach Blossom Garden, and my eyes are suddenly enlightened.
Therefore, finding such a hole has become one of the important signs to judge whether it can become a thousand caves.
There is such a cave in Qianjiadong, Jiangyong. Then, what about Qianjiadong, Guanyang? Can you find such a cave?
Fortunately, there is also such a cave in Guanyang. The locals call this cave rock-piercing, and the specific location is in Shangtun, Lvjialing, Paibujiang Village, Guanyang Town.
Tracing back to the source along a small stream, a long and narrow hole was opened on a small hill in the distance. Around the hole, bushes were densely covered with weeds, and a clear spring flowed out from the bottom of the hole. Under the interception of two dams, two small waterfalls were formed.
What do you think this cave looks like?
Leading to the rock, there is a canal. On the side of the canal, there is a path, along which it gradually approaches the mouth of the cave.
On the side of the road stands such a natural rock.
Stand on the dam and look down.

Wild vines hanging from trees.
A hole hidden by weeds in bushes.
Fortunately, it was the dry season, and there was not much water in the stream. I stepped on the stones by the stream and jumped and headed for the mouth of the cave.

Finally, no wet shoes got wet and came to the cave.

The cracks in rock mass near the cave are developed.
Look out.
Walking into the mouth of the cave, there is a place at the top of the cave where some brown stalactites grow.
The mouth of the cave is not wide. Under the impact of running water for many years, a small pool has been formed here, which makes people who enter the cave hesitate. Fortunately, the water is still shallow, and some busybodies put two stones on the other shore, so that my visit can continue.
Outside the cave.
Further into the cave, the stream covered the whole bottom of the cave, and with the little stones exposed from the stream surface and my relatively flexible posture, I performed a flash exhibition and jumped into the cave.
The deeper you go, the narrower the hole becomes.
Stalactites above the ceiling of the cave.
The narrowest part of the cave is only one meter wide, and the stream forms a deep pool here. I remember that I visited this cave when I was a child, and it was still summer. We caught some crabs and took a bath in this pool.
As can be seen from the photos, the terrain here is extremely dangerous. When the water is heavy, it must be rough and pedestrians can't pass normally.
Perhaps it is convenient for sightseeing. On the left rock wall, a narrow aisle was built.
On the beach near the cave, there is a tree pocket rushing down from the upstream.
Walking through the narrow passage, there is a deep pool in front to block the way. Unless you swim in the water, it will be difficult to cross. There is a bright light coming in front of the hole, but I can only turn back and sigh.
Go back to the entrance.
Narrow riverbeds and steep rock walls.

Looking at the top of the cave at the entrance.
Although this rock is called crossing the rock, the deep pool blocked the road and I failed to complete the crossing. Through field observation, this hole cannot be used as a normal passage for pedestrians. Therefore, it is unconvincing to regard it as the entrance of thousands of caves.
Furthermore, it is far-fetched to say that Huangguan is the upper cave of a thousand caves, Xinjie is the middle cave of a thousand caves, and Guanyang Town is the lower cave of a thousand caves. Because Guanyang County was established in BC 168, the county seat was located in Queer Mountain in Xinjie, and in AD 6 17, the county seat was moved from Queer Mountain in Xinjie to Guanyang Town now. Therefore, Xinjie and Guanyang Town cannot be thousands of caves where Yao people live and work in peace and contentment. As Guanyang people, it is hard to accept this result, however, this is the fact.

The village on the hillside is the village of Lvjialing in Paibujiang Village.
