The ancient state of Goryeo refers to what is now North Korea, China's Liaodong Peninsula, around Changchun and Shenyang.

Goryeo (918-1392 CE), also known as the Goryeo Dynasty, Wang's Goryeo, was one of the feudal dynasties on the Korean Peninsula. it was replaced by the Joseon Dynasty in 1392.
