1. First put a steamer or stainless steel support frame into the cooking pot, and add boiled water. If you don’t have boiled water, tap water will do. The water cannot exceed the height of the shelf.
2. Put the rice into a bowl and wash it. Pour water into the bowl, as long as the water is deeper than the rice.
3. Place the bowl on the rack. Cover the pot.
4. Fire! Heat over high heat until the water boils, almost steaming for about 30 minutes. You may need to add water halfway through.
5. Boil the pot after 30 minutes. If there is still water in the bowl, steam for a few more minutes. until there is no water in the bowl. Finally, you can turn off the heat and simmer for a few minutes.
