China Green Food Association is responsible for formulating the management rules for the use of green signs, and organizing the management of signs such as examination, licensing and post-certification supervision. Provincial green food institutions are responsible for accepting the application, on-site inspection, material review, supervision and management of the use of green signs within their respective jurisdictions.
The applicant shall meet the following conditions:
1, able to bear civil liability independently;
2. Have a stable production site, plant equipment and other necessary production conditions. , or entrust other enterprises to produce green funds to apply for products according to law;
3. Environmental and technical conditions for green capital production;
4, with a sound quality management system, and stable operation for at least one year;
5. There are production technicians and quality management personnel suitable for the production scale.
Process of applying for green food certification mark:
1. The applicant fills in the Application Form for the Use of Green Food Signs in duplicate (including the attached materials) and submits it to the green food management department of the local province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government and cities with separate plans).
2. The provincial green food management department entrusts an environmental monitoring agency that has passed the metrological certification at or above the provincial level to conduct environmental assessment on the origin of products or raw materials.
3, the provincial green food management department of the application materials for preliminary examination, and the preliminary examination of qualified materials submitted to the China Green Food Development Center.
4. China Green Food Development Center will review the above materials together with authoritative environmental protection agencies. Qualified, the food monitoring agency designated by China Green Food Development Center samples its declared products and tests them according to the quality and hygiene standards of green food; Those who are unqualified will no longer accept their applications in that year.
5. China Green Food Development Center conducts a comprehensive review (including on-the-spot investigation) of products that have passed the quality and hygiene inspection, and signs an Agreement on the Use of Green Food Marks with qualified applicants: the Ministry of Agriculture issues a certificate and number for the use of green food marks; Reported to the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce for the record and announced to the public at the same time.
Products applying for using the green logo (hereinafter referred to as standard products) must meet the following conditions:
1, approved by the national legal department;
2. The quality conforms to the express implementation standards of the enterprise (including relevant national, industrial and local standards and enterprise standards for the record), and conforms to the guidelines for the use of green food inputs, which will not cause users to produce and accumulate harmful substances and will not affect human health;
3. Conducive to protecting or promoting the growth of users, or protecting or improving the quality of users;
4. Under the condition of reasonable utilization, there is no adverse impact on the ecological environment;
5. Non-GM products and products processed with non-GM raw materials.
Legal basis: Article 22 of the Measures for the Administration of Green Food Labeling.
In the period of validity of the certificate, if the unit name, product name and product trademark of the mark user are changed, they shall apply to China Green Food Development Center for change after being audited by the provincial working organization.
Where the environment of origin, production technology and other conditions change, resulting in the products no longer meeting the requirements of green food standards, the users of the signs shall immediately stop using the signs and report to China Green Food Development Center through provincial working institutions.
