1. First, wash the prepared glutinous rice with clear water, and then put it into a rice steamer to steam it into rice. The water consumption is one quarter more than that of our rice steamer.
2. Then use the time of steaming rice to cut the prepared candied dates into thick slices, cut the hawthorn from the middle slice, then cut it into thin strips, and then put the cut hawthorn strips evenly in the bowl for later use.
3. Then wash the prepared raisins again, and then put the prepared preserved fruit, raisins and candied dates at the bottom of the bowl respectively. These can be added according to your own taste, or they can be changed into other things.
4. Next, put the steamed glutinous rice into a pot, add the remaining ingredients, add a proper amount of white sugar to taste, (white sugar is added according to taste) and finally add a proper amount of vegetable oil. (Traditionally, lard is added, and everyone chooses according to the situation. Refueling can make the steamed glutinous rice not easy to stick to the bowl, but also play a role in enhancing fragrance.).
5. After the raw materials are added, stir them evenly, beat the oil into the rice completely, then put the well-mixed glutinous rice into a bowl and fill it for later use. The water pot will be heated by fire. After the water is boiled, put the bowl-filled eight-treasure rice into a steamer and steam it for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn off the fire and come out of the cage, and buckle the steamed eight-treasure rice upside down in the bowl.
