Sapium sebiferum (L.) Roxb.), aliases: wax tree, tallow tree, muzi tree, black tallow tree, Chinese tallow tree, tallow tree, wax tree, oil tree, catalpa tree, rainbow tree, candle tree, oil seed tree, chili tree. The tallow tree belongs to the family Euphorbiaceae and is a deciduous tree. The tallow tree is a tree species with colored leaves. Its leaves are red and eye-catching in spring and autumn, no less than red maple. It is a unique economic tree species in China and has a cultivation history of more than 1,400 years.
