Looking for classic comics from the 1980s to the 1990s.
I have loved reading Japanese comics since I was a child, from the earliest comics Astro Boy, Big Forest and Galaxy Railway 999 to robot cat Taro Monster and Q Taro, and then to Dragon Ball, Saint saint seiya (a saint of the goddess) and Summer (an urban hunter), with a time span of about ten years (82-92). In this decade, many other Japanese cartoons have been introduced, but not many of them are really influential. Of course, the king of destruction, Ala Lei (doctor of IQ), the legend of Peacock King (Japanese original typesetting and inserted into the translation page) and Kung Fu whirlwind (young madman) are exceptions. Here I would also like to mention some books that may be forgotten: flying man (recreation) is my favorite cartoon when I was a child; Although there was only one attack team, the funny plot in it left a deep impression on me, and I still remember it vividly. The supernatural magical beauty, Fujio Fujio's works and the imagination of the story impressed me when I was a child. Unfortunately, I never saw the second edition, so I kept the first edition. Tiequan boy, Maekawa Gang's work, is the first time to see China's cartoon; Genius boy, Kobayashi's painting, is also a very funny cartoon, but now it seems "not suitable for children" ... Finally, let's talk about summer. Speaking of it, it should be the first time I have seen a cartoon with XX plot. Although Hainan's version is greatly abridged, it can still be seen from some omitted plots, although there are many funny meanings (note 1). I remember that some people in China later compiled the abridged contents of Hainan edition and published several volumes. By the way, every Hainan edition was printed with color pages for the first time, but it was removed when it was reprinted. Later, the appearance of the King of Painting led to the real rise of Japanese comics in China, which was actually the rise of piracy. As far as I know, so far, only a few Japanese cartoons published in Chinese mainland are officially authorized, and others are pirated, including those published in "The King of Painting" (Note 2). It is reported that this is also one of the reasons for its suspension (Note 3). In the meantime, there is another interesting phenomenon. Many imitations-typical China phenomenon-have appeared everywhere. However, it is undeniable that Kao Hua and comic magazines similar to him did make great contributions to the spread of Japanese comics in China and the appearance of China's own comics. Especially Kao Hua, its introduction to Japanese and European and American cartoons has broadened many people's horizons, and its support for chinese comic has also given people hope. At that time, the layout of most Japanese comics was based on the Hainan version, that is, the Japanese original was divided into two, and the translation of Japanese comics can be said to rely on our own strength. From 1992 to 1995, the number of cartoons introduced in this period can be said to be a peak, and many of them will be called classic cartoons in the future. Such as: Luanma 1/2 (Seven Laughing Boxing), Beidou Shenquan, Qiangjia, football teenager, Fuxing Kid, Youyou Bai Shu, basketball trapeze (slam dunk master), 3× 3 eyes, video girl, Voldemort Wars (Darkness Ravager), Jojo Adventure, Little Dinosaur A Gang, Peacock King and Dragon. See Note 4), Orange Road, Doctor Qin, my God of Love, Sunshine Girl (Sunshine Girl) ... In fact, it's just like Apartment of Time, Shadow Warrior, Nightingale, Legend of Dragon and Wolf, Jin Tianyi Juvenile Notebook, Auction House, Touch (a baseball hero), Football Storm, etc. Of course, it is inevitable that cartoons with erotic content, such as "Video Girl" and "Battle of Enchanting", will be deleted due to national conditions. Here, I want to mention the story of Voldemort and the girl in the sun. In addition to the erotic content of the former, its painter, story line and content are all very good, which is definitely worth seeing. Unfortunately, this is the only one I have seen so far. The latter is my personal favorite Japanese manga, which is the best choice in both painting skills and story arrangement. The theme it contains-environmental protection is also of interest to me, and the most unforgettable thing is its ending. Although I have some opinions about Tsusaka Hojo herself (see Note 5), it does not affect my evaluation of Sunshine Girl. Of course, there were many good cartoons in that period, such as homesick soldiers and talented troublemakers, ah! What? Dreams can kill boxing. Unfortunately, it was not reprinted later. Then, in 1995- 1997, girls' comics flourished here, and I often couldn't see the comics I was interested in for a month or two. However, it was during this period that I first saw pirated cartoons translated from Hong Kong and Taiwan, some of which were pirated according to the original works, but most books were sold by "amplification method", that is, the original works were divided into three volumes. This method will be carried forward in the future, and our method will certainly be bad for readers, and it will also make many people remember the number of volumes of the original book wrong. Can be said to be harmful and beneficial, who is beneficial, JS! ! JS will do anything to make more money. However, there is no way. The actual situation in China leaves us no choice but to watch or not. In fact, this situation has not changed until now. The more influential cartoons in this period include: Son of God arrival, Ear of Huanglong, Ghost Child, Eye of Midnight, Wizarding World, Teacher of Hell, Wolf of Werewolf, Devil's Love of God, Dunk Boy, X (Noriyoshi Inoue's painting), Sun Death, Thief Mark, Parasitic Beast, GS Beauty God (Blissful War), Long Adventure of Robot Cat, Magic Academy, and Thief Bruce. The problem of x is the same; The romantic bitch is the first work of Yamaguchi I have ever seen, and it is also an early work, but his extremely exaggerated and funny style left a deep impression on me, and I recommend everyone to see his works. Fantasy century, Banqiao Xiufeng painting, unique painting style, the story is also very wonderful; Funny magic baby: Fu Jian Xia Qian's painting, such as the title, is a very interesting cartoon with the theme of baby; Love songs like this: Kitazaki Taku's paintings, simple and implicit love cartoons. Ok, this is 97-98. In this more than a year, comic piracy has reached a peak. The better cartoons in this period are: Huaqing, Underwear Godfather, I'S, New Kung Fu Cyclone, Little Witch of Love, Forest Teenager, Extraordinary and Exquisite, Detective Conan, Devil Huntress, Sanqu (Godfather of Temple), Cherry Blossom Communication, Mandarin Duck, Thirty-four Branches, Movie Guerrillas, Innocent and Bold Women, Injured groupies, Romantic Fetishism, Crying to Kill God. Please also pay attention to the following cartoons: changing men into women, fragrant pills, sushi in Jiang Tai, dreams of computer lovers, people of the lower class, sacred books of witches, Decathlon, messengers of justice, rainbow peppers, ghosts of beautiful girls, longing for heaven, double stars, changing hens, love hotels, current affairs pursuit, and sons of emperors. Among them, rainbow pepper is worth mentioning. This work was released easily by me at that time. Two years later, when Mitsuru Adachi fever rose in our place, it was hard to find it again. Fortunately, it was reprinted later. There are also current affairs pursuits and love hotels. The former is a biased theme, but Oshima Taj handled it well, and the latter is a love cartoon that people appreciate very much. Maybe it's similar to my experience During this period, works such as Ryoichi Ikegami, Tourists, Friends of the Nation, Noriyoshi Inoue and even Kenji Okamura were published in large quantities, which was followed by a very interesting phenomenon, the appearance of imposters. JS find out whose things are easy to sell, such as tourists'. Well, whether he painted these books or not, the author's name will be changed to tourists. In fact, real comic lovers can see the truth at a glance. Interestingly, Toshio Maeda and Takebayashi Takeshi's works used other people's names at first, but later they were found to be selling well, so they resumed their original names and even used their own names as signboards. According to my statistics, the most frequently used names are Gui Zhenghe, Tsusaka Kitano, Tourist, Jae, Noriyoshi Inoue and Masami Kurumada. Later, the situation of impersonation went further, and forgeries began to appear, such as the static fighters-Xiang and Dragon Ball. 1998-99, the local comic business was hit hard, and booksellers were afraid to enter the book again. I had a dark time. During this period, there were few new cartoons, most of which were reprinted. During this period, comic magazines similar to King Hua appeared again. GTO, Rogue and H2 also appeared in this period. The landmark event of this period was the appearance of picture books (pocket books), which later replaced large comic books and became the mainstream of pirated comic books. The better cartoons are: Rough (I love my neighbor), Wandering Classroom, Heaven and Earth, Junji Ito and horror comics in Jin Tianyi, and Murder Weapons on Earth. Let's talk about the works of Junji Ito and Tu Yixiong. I first read Ito's works from several selected books downloaded from Taiwan Province Comic Network, and then I finished reading them completely. I can only describe his imagination with admiration, and then I watched several movies adapted from his cartoons, but I was not deeply shocked by them. At first, I didn't notice the work of a certain Tu Yixiong. It was recommended to me by my friend, so I carefully looked at the wandering classroom and the left hand of God and the right hand of the devil, and I especially liked the wandering classroom, and found that Kazuo Toyo was better at writing long stories than Ito. 1999 —— July 2002, during which I was away from home and got rid of my nightmare. However, the later book distribution industry was also hit hard. No booksellers dare to enter comics again, and several bookstores they often go to have closed down. Fortunately, I still have the road of network. Many cartoons that were deleted and smeared before have been reprinted at this time, which gives us a glimpse of the original appearance, such as the legend of Peacock King's retreat, hag crow, injured pursuers and angels. But there are still many books that have been abridged, such as several works by auction houses and tourists. The good cartoons in this issue include: serial bubble in single dormitory, double personality detective, One Piece (One Piece, One Piece Lufei), God's left hand, Devil's right hand, Firewire, Xiangnan Pure Love Group, teacher Shimano, Shinjuku villain, Hundred Foot Banner, Devil Brothers, Mitsuru Adachi's short stories, Wulong Police Station, Ming Leng Emperor Wu Tong Shilonglang, Chess Soul, Tianmen, etc., Black Cat, Fire. I especially recommend reading the works of Kubonouchi Eisaku and Othello. They are both thoughtful cartoonists. Recommend another work: Ace Supreme. This is the first political cartoon with practical significance that I have ever seen. I have seen several political cartoons before, all of which are that the ideal is greater than the reality, such as Sanctuary. Although "The Secret Service" seems naive in some places, it is still a thought-provoking good work. I saw another interesting phenomenon. JS actually regards some paintings as immature. It can be said that Korean comics, which are still in the imitation period, are sold as Japanese comics. Selling dog meat is really a sheep's head In fact, just look at the Korean characters inside and you will know whether it is true or not. Let's talk about another problem: translation. Nowadays, JS generally chooses the Hong Kong version or the Taiwan version, because it has been translated, and it is not necessary to hire a gunman to translate it, saving money. However, for those comics that are still serialized in Japan, JS still needs to spend some money. However, the gunman is a gunman after all, so the translation quality is not flattering. This is why when we read some cartoons, we found that the translation was good at the beginning, but it was a mess at the back. From August 2002 to now, I have reread many old cartoons, and the materials are also being sorted out. The cartoons worth mentioning during this period include: EX juvenile drifting, 20th century teenager, humanoid computer angel heart, spring girl, crazy horse, biochemical teenager, doomsday, Iwamaru animal clinic, ronin swordsman, winning and losing legend, strawberry 100%, underwear master, unmarried relationship, fish, rocking king and tennis prince. During this period, a new kind of pirated comics appeared-mini version (4in 1), which reduced the contents of four to nine comics into a 32-page book with four pages printed on one page, and the historical mission of pocket books came to an end. There have also been big comics, this time not a small one, nor a condensed one. But the publishing house, like the condensed version, bears the name of the distant publishing house. When I was watching the new kung fu whirlwind judo, it was interesting to see that the author summarized a sensitive picture he had drawn when it was shown in various countries and regions. Although Japan has many restrictions on film and television, for example, some things can't be put in movies, but there are relatively few restrictions on animation. Creators can express their ideas at will, but some things are acceptable in their own country and may not be acceptable elsewhere. Recently, I read a lot of Japanese "weird" cartoons, calling them weird because their expressions are probably acceptable to only some Japanese people and it is impossible to introduce them to other places. Finally, let me talk about this article. Since I published this article, there have been many reactions, and I will make amendments and supplements according to the reactions of all parties. Not all the cartoons listed above are my favorite, such as Fuxing Boy, Queenan School and Battle of Blissfulness. But because of their influence, they are written in the article. There are also some cartoons, such as the story of the magic fiddler and the fireman, which have never been finished, intermittent and unable to be listed in the front. The cartoons in this paper mainly appear in the form of books, but due to practical reasons, I believe a considerable number of cartoons first appeared on the Internet. It is impossible to have both at present. The reality is that we can't have a "Dongli", let alone a collection of English clubs and primary schools. I have seen many cartoon articles about BL on the Internet, but I can't see those about H. Maybe I should write something about them when I have time. Finally, let me talk about the translation of names. Usually, the names of pirated cartoons published in Chinese mainland are generally translated from Hong Kong and Taiwan, and only in the early days have their own translated names, but JS sometimes "changes" the names of cartoons. This is why a cartoon has two or more names. Moreover, the comic names I listed in my articles are generally more influential names. All right, that's it. Lylzg is here. Thanks again for your encouragement. Thank you. Note 1: In fact, I have always been skeptical about the translation of the King of Photographic Painting in Hainan, because at least one Hainan version of Saint saint seiya has the typesetting of traditional Chinese characters. This is definitely not a matter of translator's habit. I suspect it is his negligence and carelessness in "translation". Although saint saint seiya is a saint, most of them daub the original text on the basis of Japanese version and then "translate" it. Note 2: When communicating with cartoon friends in Taiwan Province Province, I found that the situation like King of Painting also appeared in Taiwan Province Province. Most of the early Japanese cartoons in Taiwan Province Province were pirated. Note 3: The main reason for the suspension of the publication of King of Painting was that the country rectified the cultural market at that time, which led to the suspension of the publication of Hainan Society and King of Painting. Note 4: The Dragon Mystery, also known as New Dragon Ball, Dragon Knight, Adventure with the General, Dragon Mystery, Looking for the Dragon King, Adventure with Thiel the Brave, and Fighting the Dragon the Brave (not the one painted by Kamui Fujiwara). Note 5: Takeo Tsuzaka's point of view comes from one of his short stories. In this comic anthology called Tsukasa Hojo (Love in Summer, Being Fluted that Summer), there is a chapter about Japan during World War II, which gives me the feeling that it is simply ghosts, as if the war is not their fault. I have read Japanese comics for a long time, but when I see such books, I feel angry. That's why I get angry when someone says that the bamboo tree is well painted. Comparatively speaking, one of the reasons why I like Kung Fu Cyclone is its reflection on war, which is extremely rare in Japanese comics.
