Key points of food selection for hypertension
1. Control heat energy, control the intake of staple food and fat, and try to eat less or no high-energy foods such as sweets and snacks, sweet drinks and fried foods.
2. Reduce the amount of salt used in cooking and try to eat less pickled food such as pickles.
3. Eat less fat and all kinds of animal fats, and control high cholesterol foods such as animal brains and fish eggs. Vegetable oils such as soybean oil, peanut oil and sunflower oil should be used as edible oil.
4. Eat more fruits and vegetables, especially dark vegetables.
5. Appropriately increase the intake of seafood, such as kelp, seaweed and marine fish.
