Range of the Golden Milk Belt

The Golden Milk Belt is the temperate grasslands at about 40°~50° north and south latitudes.

The grasslands in this zone are surrounded by a temperate climate all year round, and although the humid and misty air is not conducive to the growth of grains, it provides good conditions for the growth of succulent pasture grasses, which is internationally recognized as a high-quality dairy feeding zone. Cows grow comfortably and healthily in this region, resulting in high yields of high quality milk for consumers.

Nearly every landmass on the planet has pastureland with cows and sheep, because dairy products are an integral part of people's lives across geographic and ethnic boundaries.

But in dairy products, as in wine, coffee and tea, the place of origin is the most important factor in determining quality.

Just as the best wine is found in Europe, the best coffee is found in South America, and the best tea is found in China, the world's best pastures are concentrated in temperate grasslands at latitudes of about 40-50° north and south, with four seasons of temperature and humidity, soil composition, and water and rainfall conditions.

These factors determine the pasture and the production environment for the cows and sheep, and are the determining factors for the quality of the milk (protein content, milk fat content, milk dry matter or total milk solids, cleanliness, etc.). The world's best farms and the best dairy products, are produced with the southern and northern hemispheres of the two latitude zones, therefore, people called the northern and southern hemispheres of the two "golden milk belt".
