Cause and maintenance: This fault may be that the normally closed contact surface of the insulation switch is dirty or ablated, so that the contact resistance of the contact is too large, which leads to the closure of the contact and the blockage of the circuit, the heating tube does not heat up, and the rice cooker does not keep warm. At this time, the contact surface can be cleaned with fine sandpaper and plated with tin. If the insulation still cannot be maintained, the insulation switch can be replaced.
Fault 3: Cooking
Cause and maintenance: This fault may be that the normally closed contacts of the disconnector are sintered and stuck together. Although the rice has been cooked and the temperature limiter has jumped off, the insulation switch continues to energize the heating pipe, and the rice has gone bad. At this time, you can separate the contacts with a knife, and then clean the contact surface with fine sandpaper.
Mistake 4: Boiling uncooked rice
Cause and maintenance: This fault is generally caused by the weakening of the magnetic force of the permanent magnet ring in the temperature limiter. At this time, you can disassemble the temperature limiter of the rice cooker and check whether the magnetic ring is broken and how attractive it is. If the permanent magnet ring is broken, the temperature limiter of the same model must be replaced; If the suction decreases, the temperature adjusting screw on the temperature limiter can be adjusted by 1/4 turns at a time, and try to eat once.
Problem 5: I can't cook.
Reason and maintenance:
1, the source line is open. Check the power cord with an ohmmeter;
2. The current limiting resistor is blown. At this time, you can check the resistance with an ohmmeter. If the resistor is blown, the current-limiting resistor of the same model must be replaced, and it cannot be replaced directly with wires;
The heating pipe is burnt out. The rice cooker without limited current resistance works for a long time and burns out the heating tube. At this point, check the heating pipe with an ohmmeter. If the circuit is broken, it must be replaced with the heating plate.
Fault 6: the heat preservation light is on, but the cooking light is not on.
Reason and maintenance:
1, the heating plate does not heat, and the power cord is broken;
2, the heating plate does not heat, and the contacts of metal switches are generally ignited and oxidized, as long as the contacts are polished with sandpaper or a small file;
3, heating plate heating, check the cooking indicator and current limiting resistance.
Fault 7: If the rice is brown, the magnetic steel lever will not fall off and will automatically reset.
