Grub control methods: (1) agricultural control.
The implementation of drought and water crop rotation, do not apply uncomposted organic fertilizer; fall harvest peanuts while plowing to pick up grubs, or put ducks, chickens, geese to catch food.
(2) trapping adult insects.
Adults can be trapped by black light when they are in full bloom. In the black velvet tortoise beetle bloom area can be 30 ~ 40 cm of fresh elm, poplar, acacia branches immersed in 40% of the oxidized lecithin 30 ~ 40 times the solution, and then take out and inserted into the peanut field in the evening, every 667 meters 210 ~ 20 branches of baiting.
(3) Pharmaceutical control.
50% phoxim is mixed with 0.2% of the seed weight, or seed coating agent is mixed with 2% of the seed weight, both of which can be a good control of grubs. When sowing every 667 meters 2 with 3% furadan 1.5 ~ 2.5 kg or 5% phoxim granules 2.5 ~ 3 kg mixed with fine dry soil 10 ~ 15 kg, evenly sprinkled in the sowing furrow (do not contact with the seed). Peanut growing season, in the peanut field spraying 40% oxidized lecithin, per 667 m 2 with 50 grams of water 30 ~ 40 kg spray, to kill the adult insects to reduce leaf-feeding pests. Every 667 meters 2 with 50% methyl isothiophos 250-300 grams, or 5% phoxim granules 2.5-3 kg mixed with fine dry soil 15-20 kg sprinkled on the peanut roots, combined with cultivation of soil to kill hatching grubs, but also methyl isothiophos emulsifiable oil can be formulated into a 600 times the potion to irrigate the roots.
