Practice course of sugar-coated haws
1. First, treat the hawthorn and remove its stems. Prepare a pot of water, add a spoonful of salt, stir well, then soak in hawthorn for 5 minutes, so as to remove pesticide residues from hawthorn, wash it again after soaking, and take it out under water control.

2. String the hawthorn with bamboo sticks prepared in advance. Of course, you can also string some of your favorite fruits together to make different flavors.

3. Pour a bowl of rock sugar and a bowl of water into the pot. The water quantity is about 1 cm (the ratio of water to sugar is 1: 1). Open a big fire and boil the rock sugar. When the water boils, turn it to a low heat, without stirring.

4. The syrup will slowly change from white bubbles to light yellow bubbles. Always cook with the smallest fire, and the white bubbles in the pot will become denser and thicker.

Until the syrup turns golden, we can dip a little sugar liquid with chopsticks and put it in cold water. If the molding is fast and the taste is crisp, it means that the sugar solution is ripe.

6. Turn off the fire after cooking, add appropriate amount of white sesame seeds and mix well.

7. Then tilt the pot slightly, and you can dip the string of Sugar-Coated Berry into the sugar solution. When dipping the sugar solution, you must pay close attention, otherwise the sugar will dry after a long time.

8. Dip it in a greased container and let it cool for about 3 minutes before eating.
