Time and methods of planting kannada

1. Planting time of amaranth The best sowing time of early spring amaranth is from February to April. Amaranth likes warmth, has strong heat tolerance, and is not cold tolerant. The optimal temperature for growth is 23-27°C. Growth is slow below 20°C. If the temperature is too high, the degree of stem fibrosis will be high. At temperatures below 10°C, it is difficult for seeds to germinate. Amaranth is a high-temperature, short-day crop that easily blooms and sets fruit under high-temperature, short-day conditions. Cultivated in spring and summer, the temperature is suitable, the sunshine is long, the bolting is late, the quality is tender and the yield is high. 2. How to grow amaranth Amaranth is generally grown by direct seeding, and the seeding rate is determined according to the temperature in different cultivation seasons. In early spring, when the temperature is low and seedlings emerge poorly, the seeding rate should be increased to about 3 kilograms per mu; in late spring, the seeding rate is reduced to about 2 kilograms; in autumn, when the temperature is high and seedlings emerge quickly, the seed yield per mu will be reduced to about 1 kilogram. The seeding rate for protected land cultivation can be increased appropriately, with a seeding rate of 3-4 kg per mu. Generally, water spinach is grown live in Ganzi. When sowing in the open field in spring or sowing in protected areas in early spring, due to the early sowing period, low temperature and slow emergence of seedlings, the seeds need to be soaked and germinated before sowing. Put the seeds into a cloth bag, soak them in warm water for 3-4 hours, take them out, drain off the excess water, and place them at a temperature of about 30°C to accelerate germination. When 50% of the seeds are exposed, they can be planted in open ground.
