When I bought the pure electric model, I chose the GAC New Energy's EAN S. Why did I buy this car? The main reason is that not only the sales of the EAN S is very high (everyone buys the general will not be bad), and its appearance, the interior is very elegant (Beijing people love face well); range of 510km belongs to the first echelon; more importantly, it is particularly spacious, with the B-grade fuel car Accord, Camry is not comparable to the more appropriate for a large family such as ours, a family of a car.

I believe many people living in Beijing are like me, usually the vehicle is mainly used for daily commuting and weekend driving. With a range of 510km, there is no pressure at all to drive in urban conditions. Using myself as an example, I commute about 80 kilometers to and from work every day, along routes that include urban expressways (the fifth ring road, with an average speed of 90) and ordinary city roads (with an average speed of 20-50, and moderate congestion in morning and evening peaks).

When driving, I usually use ECO mode with 3 levels of energy recovery, and counting weekend trips to the suburbs, the range of the EAN S is more than enough, and I can charge it once a week. In addition, charging piles are scattered all over the city like stars, even if there are special circumstances, it is very convenient to find charging piles temporarily, so there is no range anxiety problem when using the EAE in urban working conditions.

It's been more than 8,000 kilometers since I drove my EAEAN S, but I haven't done much long-distance highway driving. Recently, I happened to need to drive to and from Hengshui, Hebei Province, and I simply searched for the trip. 330 kilometers one way, about 4 hours on the highway, will be my EAHNS highway debut.

To be honest, the first moment I saw this distance, my heart was a little drumming, I do not know whether the EAN S can support me to the end of the run, if the highway on the car is not enough power, is not there a place to facilitate charging? Or do I have to get off the highway and go around to the neighboring cities and counties to find a charging post? At the time of apprehension, I was as resourceful as a flash of light, in today's Internet age, is not it possible to use the cell phone to search for one of the searches? After some research, I was surprised to find that the Gaode map "long-distance information" option, you can search for charging piles along the way!

Added decisively, the result is a little out of my expectation, basically along the route of each service area has a charging station, the interval is only a few tens of kilometers of the model, and some even marked with detailed information (including the number of charging fast and slow piles, charging power and tariffs, etc.) for us to choose to refer to. Have to marvel at our country's Internet and infrastructure is really too strong!

Here's a tip, according to the distance of the initial judgment to choose the right charging station, you can choose to "add via point", so that when you want to when you are about to reach the charging station, the navigation will prompt the route in and out of the avoidance of missing.

Since this is my first long-distance trip, I have to be well-prepared. The day before I left, I fully charged my EAHNS.

The next day, we set off early for the trip. Since we brought our little angel with us on this trip, who suffers from a little bit of motion sickness, we chose to enter the service area every once in a while for a break, so that the little one could get some fresh air and replenish her energy. This also created the conditions for my electric driving strategy this time.

After driving 95 kilometers, we arrived at the first waypoint of the journey, the Bull Moose Service Area. Niu Camel Service Area is a relatively quiet and neat service area with more convenient supporting dining and resting space. In the service area near the exit, there are 4 National Grid fast charging piles, charging piles are newer, all available, counting the service charge charging electricity price of 1.1 yuan / kWh in the valley, 1.6 yuan / kWh in the peak.

After 200 kilometers of driving, we arrived at the second way point of our journey, the SUNING service area. The overall environmental quality of the Sunning Service Area is slightly lower than that of the Niu Camel Service Area, and there is also a more convenient supporting dining and resting space, but the equipment looks a bit old, but the environment is relatively clean. Also in the service area near the exit, there are 4 National Grid fast charging piles, charging piles are cleaner, all available, counting the service charge charging electricity price of 1.3 yuan/kilowatt hour in the valley, 1.8 yuan/kilowatt hour in the peak. In this service area, I also encountered the same model of EAN S as my favorite car, parked side by side, the fate is wonderful.

After 282 kilometers of driving, we arrived at the third way point of the journey, Hengshui service area. Hengshui service area is the most fashionable one among the service area stops along the way, with a beautiful environment, dining, commercial and leisure facilities, and even KFC and takeaway, a bit like a small attraction rest area, which is a bit surprising. In the location near the entrance of the service area, there are 4 National Grid fast charging piles, charging piles are cleaner, all available, counting the service charge charging electricity price of 1.3 yuan/kilowatt-hour in the valley, 1.8 yuan/kilowatt-hour in the sharp peak. This service area was the last waypoint before I reached my destination.

Finally, after more than four hours of driving, we arrived at the end of the journey at noon. Through this long-distance tram trip, we basically dispelled the original doubt that new energy vehicles are not suitable for long-distance high-speed running. In fact, long-distance travel, new energy vehicle charging is very convenient and affordable, summarized in a few points:

1. At present, the national highway network along the highway service area basically set up the national grid charging piles, spacing mileage of 20 to 40 kilometers or so, basically with the number of gasoline stations comparable to the title of China's infrastructure demon is really not for nothing.

2. The charging piles are maintained by specialized personnel, and the failure rate is very low. Charging along the way generally does not require waiting, that is to say, plug and play, that is to say, pull out that is to say, the efficiency is very high.

3. The fast charging speed of electric new energy vehicles is very fast, basically about half an hour to charge about 400 kilometers, temporary stops, meals, rest time, that is, to complete the charging, and will not have an impact on the trip plan.

4. There will be some mileage reduction in the high speed long-distance pure tram, the average speed of the whole trip is about 110 kilometers per hour, the actual mileage is about 85% of the apparent mileage, the reason we all understand, is due to the working principle of the motor. In addition, the kinetic energy recovery system of the tram is basically useless on the highway. The good thing is that it's relatively easy to recharge, though.

5. Economy is very high, to my EA S this trip as an example, assuming that all according to the peak electricity price of 1.8 yuan / degree calculation, the battery a *** 58.8 degrees, full of about 106 yuan spent, down to 85 / 5.1 = 20.8 yuan per 100 kilometers. General fuel car every 100 kilometers about 10 oil, 95 # gasoline is now 5.85/liter, a total of 58.5 yuan per 100 kilometers, the same mileage tram the actual cost of about 35% of the fuel car. Even taking into account electric consumption and highway range discount, the tram is still much more economical than traditional fuel cars. Of course, if you calculate according to the daily commute at home charging 0.5 yuan / kWh of electricity, 100 kilometers less than 6 yuan cost fuel car is even more incomparable.
