The Regulations of Nanjing Municipality on the Management of Domestic Waste stipulates that:

Nanjing domestic waste is divided into recyclables, harmful waste, kitchen waste and other wastes.

Nanjing residential areas and rural residential areas should implement the system of centralized delivery of domestic garbage at regular and fixed points;

Nanjing implements the responsibility system for classified management of domestic waste;

If the collection and transportation units of domestic garbage are classified as mixed collection and mixed transportation of domestic garbage, the administrative department of urban management shall impose a fine of more than 5,000 yuan and less than 50,000 yuan.
