The sterilization methods of dishwashers include ozone sterilization, ultraviolet sterilization and high temperature sterilization.
1. Ozone sterilization
Ozone sterilization is a method of using ozone gas to kill bacteria and viruses, which can quickly and thoroughly disinfect tableware. The advantages of ozone sterilization are no chemical residue, stable disinfection effect and short sterilization time (usually within 1-2 minutes).
2. Ultraviolet sterilization
An ultraviolet lamp tube is used for sterilization in the dishwasher. The wavelength range of ultraviolet rays is 211-275nm, in which the band with the strongest bactericidal effect is 251-271nm. The ultraviolet radiation energy is low and the penetration is weak, which can only kill the microorganisms directly irradiated. Therefore, the sterilization site must be fully exposed to ultraviolet rays during sterilization.
3. High-temperature sterilization
This is the most common way to wash or dry tableware with high-temperature hot water or hot air to kill bacteria. Generally speaking, common bacteria can be effectively killed when the water temperature is above 71℃ or the drying temperature is above 85℃ for about half an hour.
Precautions for using the dishwasher
1. When using the dishwasher to clean tableware, there should not be too many sundries left on the tableware. When cleaning, clean the sundries on the tableware first to avoid blocking the filter screen and affecting our washing effect.
2. When washing the dishwasher, the tableware placed inside should also be paid attention to. First, bowls and dishes should be placed in the dish rack according to the marked position and direction. If they are placed incorrectly, the cleanliness will be affected. In addition, excessive tableware should not be placed inside the dishwasher.
3. Long-term use of dishwashing may lead to the accumulation of impurities in the container and affect its cleaning effect. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the dishwasher regularly. You can use special dishwasher detergent or white vinegar to clean the dishwasher.
