Regulations of Xuzhou Municipality on the Supervision and Protection of Muslim Food

Article 2 These Regulations shall apply to the production and operation of halal food by enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households within the administrative area of this Municipality.

Article 3 The term "Muslim food" as mentioned in these Regulations refers to meat products, oil products, dairy products, cakes and other foods produced and operated according to the traditional eating habits of Hui, Uygur, Kazak, Dongxiang, Kirgiz, Salar, Tajik, Uzbek, Baoan and tatar people ethnic minorities (hereinafter referred to as "Hui ethnic minorities"). Article 6 An enterprise engaged in the production and marketing of halal food shall meet the following conditions in addition to obtaining the production and marketing qualifications according to law:

(1) Employees shall be equipped with Hui and other ethnic minorities who are used to muslim food;

(2) The sites, equipment and facilities for production and operation meet the requirements of muslim food customs;

(3) It has a complete inspection and supervision system for the production and operation of halal food.

Article 7 Enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households that produce and deal in halal food shall receive halal signs, which shall be clearly indicated in the conspicuous places of production and business operations.

Article 11 Cattle, sheep, chickens, ducks and other livestock and poultry supplied to Hui and other ethnic minorities shall be slaughtered in accordance with the traditional customs of Hui and other ethnic minorities? The main and auxiliary raw materials for the production and marketing of halal food shall meet the requirements of the eating habits of Hui and other ethnic minorities. Article 11 Enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households that produce and deal in halal food shall not store, process, sell or eat foods or raw materials that are taboo for Hui and other ethnic minorities in their production and business premises. Twelfth production and marketing of taboo food for Hui and other ethnic minorities, should keep a proper distance from the production and marketing of halal food sites or set up isolation facilities; Commodities and articles that are customarily taboo in markets, shopping malls, supermarkets and other comprehensive business places in muslim food shall be placed separately from halal food, and shall not be in the same case or cabinet. Thirteenth enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households that produce and manage halal food shall not violate the taboos of Hui and other ethnic minorities when they register their trade names and advertise. Article 14 Where packaging with "halal" logo or halal meaning is used in production and business operation, the built-in food shall meet the requirements of halal. Fifteenth non halal catering establishments, changed to halal catering establishments, should replace the related tableware, cooking utensils, and apply for halal signs in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of these regulations. Sixteenth enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households are no longer engaged in the production and operation of halal food, they should return the halal signs to the original licensing authority and remove the original halal signs. Article 17 The people's governments of cities, counties (cities) and jiawang district shall encourage and support enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households to engage in the production and operation of halal food, and give the following preferential treatment:

(1) The finance at the same level shall make overall arrangements and give support to the construction or renovation projects of halal food approved by the people's governments of cities, counties (cities) and jiawang district;

(2) muslim food enterprises newly established with independent accounting shall be appropriately exempted from land acquisition, construction and other related expenses in accordance with relevant state regulations?

(3) Give preferential treatment to the rental of halal outlets that directly manage public houses;

(4) If the houses of halal food production and operation enterprises and supply points in muslim food are demolished, the original use area shall be arranged on the spot or nearby, and the transitional compensation fee shall be appropriately increased.
