The catering industry in China has maintained a rapid development of more than 11% in 2115. The catering industry is becoming an important force to stimulate domestic demand. It is because of the strong development of catering industry in China that I chose to study cooking in the Vocational Education Center School of Chuzhou University in order to catch up with the "fast train" in this new century. However, the competition in the catering professional market is extremely fierce. Once you spend more time and suffer more setbacks than others, you can reach the other side of your career. Then you will pay a heavy price for your inefficiency. Therefore, I realize that I must make a systematic plan for my future career as the steering wheel of my career navigation. From this, I have made the following career plans:
First, weave dreams and accurately locate
There is a story that says: Once upon a time, there was a young man who was a vegetable farmer for generations. The young man picked dung to water vegetables in vegetable fields every day and did the same work year after year. On his way to the vegetable field, he saw the luxurious building of the village rich man, and suddenly had a dream in his heart: one day, if I were as rich as him, I must build a pair of pole made of gold for picking dung. Even the young man who picks dung has his own dreams. As a cooking major, I should have my own career dream. First, I should prepare for my own business-go to work and constantly accumulate myself. Second, I should be prepared for my own career. Start a career, and finally, start my own business and take the road of brilliant professional life. Therefore, my short-term goal is to become a qualified chef, my medium-term goal is to become a senior manager of a catering department and a senior technician, and my long-term goal is to be the boss of a successful catering chain enterprise. < P > Second, self-evaluation and firm confidence < P > An excellent catering manager must have: 1. Rich professional knowledge and skills; 2. The concept of lifelong learning; 3. Good personal charm; 4. The spirit of hard work; 5. Social communication ability and cooperation ability. I am extroverted, quick-thinking, with strong innovative thinking, good eloquence, good appearance and solid professional skills. I participated in poetry recitation, speeches and professional skills competitions many times during my school days and won many awards. I served as a study committee member in my class, and I have strong working ability, which laid the foundation for my future management ability. I have been exposed to the hard-working spirit from my family since childhood. I have the basic qualities of being a chef. The internship experience in the past half year has cultivated a strong sense of professionalism and social responsibility, and my cooking skills have also been greatly improved. At the same time, I am a person who is good at getting along with others, and my good expression, social communication ability and cooperation ability will make me an excellent catering technology and management talent.
Third, plan the present and look forward to the future
In order to achieve my professional goals, I made the following design:
1. Preparation stage: between the ages of 17 and 21, I will focus on learning, successfully complete my three-year study career, lay a solid professional foundation, take advantage of the one-year internship opportunity and spare time to participate in social practice, accumulate experience, and exercise my business ability. I will complete the intensive training of the dual-certificate examination in school, obtain the professional qualification certificate of the intermediate cook, prepare for obtaining the advanced skill qualification after taking up the post, and go to the second level of Putonghua. Improve my comprehensive quality. During this period, I will complete my junior college degree in cooking, further enrich my knowledge and broaden my horizons.
2. Working stage: 21-25 years old. I will focus on cultivating the ability of horizontal development, and gradually train myself in basic positions such as water table, chopping board, lotus, cold dishes and stove in professional technology, and constantly master new knowledge, new materials, new technologies and new products of catering. Then, at the management level, we should gradually experience the horizontal post transformation of pastry department head-Chinese food department head-western food department head, so as to lay a solid foundation for the future vertical development, and also develop reserve technology and experience for me to high-level managers. I should start from the grassroots level and constantly improve my business level, and meet the following requirements in terms of ability: good reputation, ability to control employees, strong management ability and appeal. Of course, If it is different from the original design, you can make corresponding adjustments at this stage, and choose your most suitable occupation and post.
3. Entrepreneurial stage: 26-33 years old. My idea is to spend eight years to realize the technical development from intermediate chef-senior chef-technician-senior technician, and realize the management from ordinary employees-kitchen supervisor-deputy manager of catering department-catering. If you want to develop from a grass-roots position to a high-level management position, even if you are skilled in professional skills, you can't meet the quality requirements of high-level management if you lack management ability, management experience and communication and coordination ability. Therefore, you should develop your reputation and set an example to the manager of the catering department. Communication and coordination skills are essential.
4. Self-employment stage: 34-51 years old. The goal is to be a successful chain restaurant owner. What kind of career ideas will lead to what kind of practices. The same is to sell chickens. An old lady took her own chickens to the market to sell them, worked hard all her life, supported her family and built several houses, which is also called for her. KFC also sells chickens, not even whole chickens, but only chicken wings and drumsticks, but its business covers the whole world, because it has the concept of chain sales and the idea of doing big business. I will try my best to learn from the operation mode and business philosophy of successful enterprises, and use the experience gained during working and starting a business and the precipitation of funds to realize my highest professional goal and become a successful boss of chain catering enterprises.
5. Career transformation stage: after 51 years old.
