From July 29th, 20 13, Guangzhou social security card will be carried forward to enable medical insurance account. Because it is a financial IC chip card, at present, the medical insurance accounts with one card, two households and a savings account correspond to two card numbers respectively.

1, password problem: the password of the medical insurance account is the password of the old medical insurance card, which can be used directly in pharmacies and hospitals;

2. Is the money in the card freely available? If I take my ID card to a designated bank to open a savings account, I can take out the money I have saved, or I can swipe my card to spend it in hospitals, pharmacies, shopping malls, restaurants and so on. If it's money from the medical insurance account, the medical insurance bureau will enter it every month, so you can't go. Only used in hospitals and pharmacies.

Important reminder: distinguish between swiping and inserting cards. The former brushes the invisible magnetic stripe = savings account, and the latter inserts the chip card slot = medical insurance account.
