1. It is prohibited to construct new, altered or expanded food and beverage service projects that produce fumes, odors and exhaust gases in residential undercrofts, commercial/residential complexes that have not been equipped with a dedicated flue, and commercial floors in commercial/residential complexes that are adjacent to the residential floors.
2. No unit or individual shall barbecue food in the open air in areas prohibited by the local people's government or provide a site for barbecuing food in the open air;
3. Operators of food and beverage services emitting oily smoke shall install oily-smoke purification facilities and keep them in normal use, or take other oily-smoke purification measures, so as to make the oily smoke meet the standards of emission, and to prevent normal living environment of the nearby residents from causing pollution. Supervisory and management departments shall order correction and impose a fine of five thousand yuan or more than fifty thousand yuan; if they refuse to make corrections, they shall be ordered to cease operation and rectify the situation.
