Employee time sheets should be kept for a few years
The law does not specify how many years time sheets should be kept, but wage payment records should be kept for more than 2 years.

According to Article 6 of the Interim Provisions on the Payment of Wages, the employer shall pay the wages to the workers themselves. If a worker is unable to receive his or her wages for any reason, he or she may have his or her relatives or another person entrusted to receive the wages on his or her behalf. Employers may entrust banks to pay wages on their behalf. Employers must keep a written record of the amount, time, name and signature of the person who pays the wages, and keep it for more than two years for inspection. The employer should provide the worker with a list of his or her personal wages when the wages are paid.
