Prepackaged food, refers to pre-packaged or made in packaging materials and containers of food; including pre-packaged and pre-prepared in packaging materials and containers and in a certain amount of limited range of food with a uniform quality or volume identification.

Simply put, it means that when the packaging is completed, it has a definite quantity value, and this definite quantity value shall be "a uniform mass or volume identity within a certain quantity limit".

Producers provide to the catering industry as raw materials, auxiliary materials used in prepackaged food. Importers operating such imported prepackaged food should also be implemented in accordance with the above provisions. Provided directly to consumers of prepackaged food labeling content should include the name of the food, ingredient list, net content and specifications, the producer (or operator) of the name, address and contact information, date of production and shelf-life storage conditions, food production license number, product standard code and other content that needs to be marked. Non-directly to the consumer prepackaged food labeling must be marked food name / specification, net content, date of production, shelf life and storage conditions, and other content such as not marked on the label, it should be specified in the instructions or contract.
