Next to Mingyue Square, Gao Douhua is an old shop for decades, which can basically be regarded as the oldest restaurant in Tongliang. It features old dishes such as boiled tofu or steamed pork with rice flour, but the grade is low.
Old-fashioned restaurants basically don't operate special snacks, but there are new ones, such as the old lady who lives in spring for three years and goes up in No.1 Middle School (rabbit meat, crucian carp and fish with pickled vegetables are absolutely unique), < p
As for fish, I personally think that the fish on September 9th is the best in Tongliang, and the pickled chicken feet in Yipin Square (formerly Yangji) at the bridge head of Mingyue Square arch bridge is a unique skill in Tongliang. Then the braised duck next to the old post office has been sold for decades, and it tastes good. It is a stall without a storefront.
There are several stewed dishes, including those at the entrance of Tongliang Middle School (Yipin Square chicken feet go about 31 meters away from the square).
basically, the distinctive things of Tongliang are listed, of course, they are the best I think. I have brought many of these things to my friends. After eating them, everyone said that there is basically no such delicious food in Chongqing, and they all want to eat them.
I guess you want to treat people to eat Tongliang specialties. I suggest going to the old lady's Sanhuochun. There are three branches, but the one above No.1 Middle School thinks it tastes the best.
