● Hot water floor heating VS electric floor heating

Floor heating, also known as low-temperature floor radiant heating system, heats the floor through heating pipes buried under the floor (the surface temperature of the floor is generally between 18℃-32℃), and the floor radiates heat indoors to achieve the purpose of heating. Floor heating is mainly provided by thermal radiation, which conforms to people's physiological feelings, is comfortable and healthy, and is relatively economical and convenient if used and maintained properly, so it has been sought after by consumers in China in recent years. The hot water heating mode is generally a central gas boiler (or electric boiler), and the heating water pipe is embedded under the floor. Compared with electric heating, this method has a large one-time investment, but the operating cost is relatively small.

1. Try to use marble, floor tiles or floors together. If you choose wooden floor, you can only choose composite floor, not solid wood floor. The wood floor has good thermal stability and low moisture content, and the floor is not easy to deform after heating; The floor size should be thin but not thick, narrow but not wide to meet the requirements of deformation resistance and conductivity; The cushion under the floor should not be too thick, and it should be conducive to heat exchange and conduction. Be sure to choose the floor with less harmful substances such as formaldehyde to avoid the floor from releasing more pollutants due to baking, which is harmful to health.

2. Try not to do large-scale decoration (such as carpet) on the floor. Restless legless furniture can avoid reducing the effective heat dissipation area and weaken the thermal effect caused by hot air flow.

3. Ordinary foamed plastic products are not placed on the floor. Due to the poor thermal conductivity of these articles, it is easy to cause heat accumulation, and it is easy to produce harmful gases under the action of long-term high temperature, which is harmful to the health of residents.

4. Turn on the floor heating system and slowly heat up. Don't be too hasty. It's best to raise the temperature by about 1℃ within one hour. Keep the floor clean and dry before heating to prevent the floor from cracking and twisting due to excessive heating.

5. Don't hit, knock or push any sharp objects on the ground. The floor heating pipe laid under the ground is only about 3-4cm away from the floor surface, so it is easy to be injured if you don't pay attention.

6. The water supply temperature should not be too high. Because the floor heating system belongs to low-temperature radiation heating mode, the water supply temperature should not exceed 60℃ and the working pressure of the heating system should not be too high, otherwise it will not only cause uncomfortable heating, but also seriously reduce the service life of the whole system. In this regard, consumers can also choose some automatic control devices, such as the automatic water temperature control unit of Sende Company, to limit the inlet water temperature to 55℃. If the water temperature reaches 55℃, the valve will automatically close and the hot water will be cut off.

7. After the floor is laid, it is best to do environmental protection acceptance. Because the floor used as a floor heating system is a composite floor, there is a problem of formaldehyde release, and when used as a geothermal floor, it will aggravate formaldehyde release after heating. Therefore, after the geothermal heating floor is laid, environmental protection acceptance must be carried out to ensure that the release of free formaldehyde reaches the standard. You can't buy cheap goods that are not environmentally friendly at high prices, otherwise there will be endless troubles!

8. Choose professional brands and products with excellent performance. Choose a professional and powerful formal company, and don't covet cheap to find small manufacturers and mobile vendors.
