Operators in catering services, processing services, clothing dry cleaning, motor vehicle maintenance and other industries that emit oil fume, odor and waste gas shall use clean energy, install purification facilities such as oil fume and waste gas and keep them in normal use, or take other pollution prevention measures to discharge atmospheric pollutants up to standard, and establish a cleaning and maintenance ledger to prevent pollution to the normal living environment of nearby residents.
Smoke exhaust regulations in restaurants
Cooking and food industry units that discharge lampblack must install lampblack purification facilities and ensure that they operate as required during operation. The unorganized emission of lampblack is regarded as exceeding the standard. The length of the outlet section of the exhaust pipe should be at least 4.5 times the diameter (or equivalent diameter) of the straight pipe section.
The outlet of the exhaust pipe should be far away from vulnerable buildings. The specific provisions on the height and location of smoke exhaust pipes shall be formulated by the Provincial Environmental Protection Department. The smoke exhaust system should be well sealed, and it is forbidden to artificially dilute the concentration of pollutants in the exhaust pipe. When the catering industry produces special odor, it should refer to the odor concentration index of the Emission Standard for Odor Pollutants.
