There are two types of student apartments in the University of Auckland: dormitories with meals and apartments with meals. Accommodation is divided into one school year or one semester. Accommodation fee is NZD 8000- 13000 for a dormitory standard single room and NZD 8500- 12 100 for an apartment single room. Accommodation should be paid in one lump sum. If the contract term is one academic year, it can be paid in two installments at the beginning of the semester. Student apartment: located near the campus of the school city, there are single and double rooms. Before signing the rental contract, please know the terms of the contract in detail, such as the deposit and the conditions for the return of the deposit. Apartment: You can share a short-term or long-term apartment or house with others. This kind of accommodation needs extra expenses such as catering, cleaning, electricity and telephone. The cost is about S $ 100- 180 per week (about 420-750 yuan RMB). The University of Auckland is located near the business center of Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand. It is close to the ocean and has a mild and pleasant climate. Auckland * * * has five campuses, the largest of which is the downtown campus, where most international students study, but other campuses also offer some professional or specialized courses, such as grafton's medical and health care campus, Tamaki campus in the southeast of Auckland, Manukau campus in the south of Auckland and Tacapuna North Shore campus, which is only 10 minutes' drive from downtown.
The University of Auckland is like a small town. This square is the central area of the city campus, where there are coffee shops, bus stops, student clubs, various research institutes and student radio stations. It holds some activities, such as a small market every Thursday. You can also enjoy music, dance and performances in the girls' theater of the university. Next to Quad is Kate Edgard information center, which has various student service facilities, including small shops, barber shops, copy centers, university bookstores, travel agencies, banks and so on.
On the fourth floor of Kate Edgard Information Center, I Space is a leisure center specially prepared by the Office of International Student Affairs of the University of Auckland for international students. There, students can watch TV programs in their own language, sign up for travel and entertainment activities organized by the school for international students, take regular tea breaks, chat with students of other nationalities while enjoying delicious snacks, and participate in English instruction lectures and study skills counseling for Asian students.
