The new Lanzhou West Station is a single project of Bao Lan Passenger Dedicated Line, which is the largest passenger station on Bao Lan Passenger Dedicated Line and Lanzhou-Xinjiang High-speed Railway. The total construction area of Lanzhou West Station is about 233,000 square meters, of which 100,000 square meters are counted as the total construction area of the station building project.
The station building is divided into three floors, namely, elevated waiting floor, platform floor and exit floor, with local mezzanine floors, and the total height of the building is 39.55 meters. The functional pattern is "north-south ground station, elevated waiting, underground station", and the passenger flow pattern is "up and down, north-south station, east-west station".
The elevated waiting level is the second floor above ground, and its main function is waiting for trains and business and leisure. The waiting hall is 90 meters wide from east to west and 370 meters long from north to south, with an overall area of 44,000 square meters. There are 24 entrances A and B on each side of the east and west sides, and passengers can go straight to the platforms along the east and west side of the entry channel. In the waiting area, there is a direct drinking water supply, key passenger waiting area, breastfeeding room, Feitian Xinlu service desk and other service-oriented facilities. In addition to providing wheelchairs, stretchers, over-the-counter medication kits, toolboxes, letterheads, needles and threads for passengers who are old, young, sick, disabled or pregnant, the "Flyaway Warm Road" service desk also has a fax and copying machine to provide business travelers with fax and copying services, and there are a number of language ambassadors to provide 9 foreign languages, such as English, French, German, Korean and Japanese, as well as 2 foreign languages, Tibetan and Viennese. There are also a number of language service ambassadors providing guidance and consulting services in 9 foreign languages including English, French, German, Korean, Japanese, etc. and 2 minority languages including Tibetan and Viennese, which comprehensively enhance the influence and popularity of the brand of "Western High-speed Railway - Flyaway Road". There is a changing room in the bathroom, which can meet the requirements of passengers for changing clothes. For the needs of old, young, sick and disabled passengers, there is a barrier-free bathroom. There is a commercial area on the elevated floor of the waiting area, which can meet the needs of travelers for finance, dining and shopping.
The platform level is the first floor above ground, and its main function is to take the bus distribution area. This floor has a ticket hall, real-name ticket inspection, station security check and other service facilities. Tickets for moving trains are mainly sold through self-service ticket machines and networks in the station building. Lanzhou West Railway Station has 122 artificial self-service ticket windows, including 74 artificial ticket windows, 48 self-service ticket machines (including 40 automatic ticket machines, self-service ticket machines 8). 8 ticket halls are temporarily open to the northeast corner of the platform level of the largest ticket hall, the northwest corner of the departure level of the ticket hall and out of the station level of the north side of the ticket halls and other three ticket offices.
The exit level is an underground layer, exit passengers from the platform through the north and south of the two exits out of the station, this layer includes bus yards, public **** transfer area, aisles and commercial development zones.
Lanzhou West Railway Station*** is equipped with 127 elevators to provide convenience for passengers, including 80 escalators and 47 straight elevators. At the same time, there are 66 passenger help terminals, 27 self-service inquiry machines, 101 inbound gates, 40 outbound gates, 40 automatic ticket vending machines, and 8 self-service ticket vending machines, providing convenient services for passengers. Lanzhou West Railway Station station area planning in two urban rail transit through, Line 1 and the railroad line parallel, Line 2 and the railroad line perpendicular to the two rail transit in the north square set up an interchange station. A phase of the project: including the north and south elevated carriageway and its projection of the ground and underground parts, a total area of about 52,300 square meters, the project estimated total investment of 290 million yuan. The first underground level includes bus yard, public **** transfer area, walkway and commercial development; the second underground level includes cab yard, social car park, transportation transfer area, walkway and commercial development. The project is being constructed in parallel with the station building of Lanzhou West Railway Station and will be officially put into use at the end of 2014.
The second phase of the project: adjacent to the north side of Lanzhou West Railway Station station building, covering 17.9 hectares of land covering about 268 acres, with a development area of about 276,000 square meters. Including elevated ramp project, North Square and underground space development, Xijinxi Road under the interchange project, North Square on both sides of the commercial development and circular footbridge project. The design of the ground bus platform 47, underground social vehicle parking 597, cab parking 280. The project estimated total investment of 3.4 billion yuan.
Third-phase project: adjacent to the south side of Lanzhou West Railway Station, covering an area of about 210 acres, with a development area of about 230,000 square meters. It includes elevated ramp project, south square and underground space development, and commercial development on both sides of the south square. The design of the ground bus standard platform 30, tourist bus standard platform 30, underground social vehicle parking 646, cab parking 155. The project estimated total investment of 2.18 billion yuan .
According to the plan, a 120-meter-wide north-south landscape avenue will be directly from the Lanzhou West Railway Station North Square in the middle of the location of the South Binhe Road, where the green belt and landscape design will occupy nearly half of the space, and along the landscape avenue to the south of the Binhe Road, but also designed a bridge with the Anning can be connected to the direction of the Lanzhou New Area. On March 24, 2014, the main project of Lanzhou West Railway Station was completed .
At 21:50 on November 3, 2014, the "Harmony" train, No. CRH5A-5053, entered Lanzhou West Station for the first time, and stopped for 20 minutes to go to the Minhe South Station to start the last section of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed railway for the joint commissioning.
On December 26, 2014, Lanzhou West Railway Station was officially opened to traffic.
On September 30, 2015, the whole line of Lanzhou-Zhongchuan Intercity Railway was opened for operation, with five trips starting from Lanzhou West Passenger Station.
