Fire safety permits are required for all homestays.

The B&B is a public place. According to Article 15 of the Regulations on Fire Supervision and Inspection,

The fire department of the public security organ shall inspect the fire safety of the public gathering place before it is put into use or opened for business within ten working days from the date of accepting the application, and make a decision of approval or disapproval for putting into use or opening for business within three working days from the date of inspection, and serve it on the applicant.

On February 27th, 2117, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Public Security and the National Tourism Administration formulated the "Fire Prevention Guidelines for Farmhouse (B&B) Buildings (Trial)", which comprehensively guided and standardized the fire prevention of B&B buildings.

The construction of the hotel inn must meet the most basic fire safety conditions, and achieve "two no, one separate and four equipped"

1, two no

(1) Metal sandwich panels shall not be used as building materials;

(2) The total construction area of leisure and entertainment areas and catering areas with entertainment functions should not be greater than 511m2.

2. Separate

Different B&B rooms located in the same building should be separated by non-combustible solid walls and evacuated independently.

3 and 4 are equipped with

(1) independent smoke fire detection alarm or automatic fire alarm system shall be set;

(2) Every 25m2, at least one 2kg fire extinguisher shall be provided, which can be water-based fire extinguisher or ABC dry powder fire extinguisher, and the fire extinguisher shall be set at the public part of each floor and the exit of the first floor;

(3) Each guest room should be equipped with facilities such as flashlights, escape masks or fire-fighting self-rescue breathing apparatus according to the number of people staying, and evacuation diagrams should be posted in obvious places;

(4) The emergency exits, stairwells and evacuation walkways should be provided with visual continuous light evacuation indication signs, and stairwells and evacuation walkways should be provided with emergency lighting.
