Zhengzhou is the transportation hub of public transportation, railway transportation, air transportation and communication in China, forming a transportation network composed of three modes of transportation: railway, highway and air. By April 2022, Zhengzhou has 2 terminals, 2 runways, 162 air routes, 6 railway stations, 2 railway trunk lines, 6 high-speed rail lines, 22 rail transit lines,1/expressway lines and 37 bus rapid transit lines. Zhengzhou is an important birthplace of Chinese civilization, a national historical and cultural city, one of the six major sites supported by the state, and a member of the World Historical Metropolis Alliance. By the end of 20021,Zhengzhou had 83 national key cultural relics protection units, 97 provincial cultural relics protection units, 208 municipal cultural relics protection units and 6 national intangible cultural heritage lists.
