During the period of western Zhou Xuanwang, the northern nomad Gui settled in Jiaohuo (in the northwest of this county) and gradually developed and expanded southward. The war between Zhou and Gui lasted for years. "Poem Xiaoya June" contains: "The bandit Ru, who lived in Jiaohuo, invaded the pickaxe and the square, as for Jingyang." "Jingyang" originated here as a regional name.

Jingyang county is located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi Province, downstream of Jinghe River, and is the origin of China. It is connected with Gaoling and Sanyuan in the east, adjacent to Xi 'an and Weicheng District in Xianyang in the south, bordering Liquan County in the west, cragginess and Beizhongshan in the north, and bordering Sanyuan and Chunhua County in the north. It has a superior geographical position and is known as the "cabbage heart in Guanzhong".

It is located in the eastern part of Jingyang County and at the junction of three counties (Sanyuan County, Gaoling County and Weicheng District) of two cities (Xi 'an City and Xianyang City). It is a garden-style new industrial district planned and constructed by Jingyang County to seize the opportunity of Xi 'an economic circle and the northward movement of administrative center and the economic integration of Xi 'an and Xianyang. * * * has jurisdiction over three towns, namely Yongle, Chongwen and Gaozhuang, with a planned area of 21.36 square kilometers and a controlled area of 44 square kilometers and 45,111 people.
