Tianjin No.1 Thermal Power Plant was built in 1937 with a total installed capacity of 200,000 kWh. In 2003, Tianjin No.1 Thermal Power Plant was officially placed under China Guodian Corporation.

According to the resolution of the 52nd Mayor's Office Meeting of Tianjin Municipal Government last year and the construction requirements of the first thermal power plant heating reconstruction project, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company will build two 220kV substations, namely Guangming Bridge and Dongxing, as well as related power lines and medium and low voltage outlets.
Guangming Bridge 220 kV power transmission and transformation project is an important part of the heating reconstruction project of the First Thermal Power Plant, and it is also one of the key projects planned and constructed by Tianjin Power Grid 20 1 1. State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company has gone all out to do a good job in the construction of power supporting projects, and has done a good job in communication and coordination with planning, traffic control, municipal administration, drainage and relevant government departments to ensure that the substation project, power line project and medium and low voltage outlet project will be fully started on February 28, and make every effort to ensure the construction period.
