The Okakura Couple
Masako Yamaguchi's business is failing, and Okakura has to close its store. Without the money to buy a new store, Daikichi is ready to give up on business. Instead, Yoko proposes to remodel the house and open Okkura again. During the conversion, Mr. and Mrs. Daikichi went to their daughters' houses in order to find a place to live, and after converting the kitchen, living room, and Japanese-style room into a store, the new Okakura was opened.
The Noda family
Akari, who graduated from a women's college, goes to take care of Ryo, who is single and in the middle of a job, and meets Kazuo, the son of a pear farmer. Despite Yayoi's objections, Akari and Kazuo get married. When Iwaki's factory closes down, Yoshi returns to Tokyo and has a disagreement with Yayoi, who is working there. The Kojima Family

Leaf says that this is the era of first-class architects more than lighting designers, and works desperately to qualify. Her performance with Yamaguchi Corporation deteriorated at the same time that she broke off her engagement with Taro.
The Honma Family
The eldest son married Eisaku, and although she lived in Osaka's Honma Hospital, she returned to Tokyo with the realization of divorce because of her poor relationship with Tsuneko, and started a life with Eisaku as just two people. Tsuneko appeared and persuaded the eldest son about various things in relation to her position as the daughter-in-law of the Honma family.

The Okakura Couple
Setsuko dies suddenly on a trip to New York, and Taki, a good friend who lives near Setsuko, starts to help out at Mr. and Mrs. Setsuko's store. Daikichi, who has become a loner, suddenly feels unwell late one night and is pulled away by an ambulance, and his five daughters begin to have various worries. Joo-ja returns home from Xavier's to celebrate Daikichi's 70th birthday and reveals a message that Setsuko left behind while she was in New York.
The Noda family
Takeshi took a job at an automobile factory in Shizuoka instead of going to college. He also married Sae, who was pregnant. Mr. and Mrs. Yayoi are disappointed by the birth of a child that is not their own grandchild, but bless the two with a child due to what they feel is Sae's gentle nature. On the one hand, Akari is engaged in overworked farming in the Akiba household, and her husband Kazuo is plugging his dream of farming with hydroponic cultivation, financed by Taki (Setsuko's best friend).

Makoto is too deep into the internet to get out of it, and speaks up about not wanting to continue high school. At this point, Hyung's friend Soufon shows up. Soukata plans to bring the divorced couple back to the beginning of their relationship. Leaf

The Honma Family
The eldest son, who lives alone, begins to live with Daikichi out of concern for him, but Tsuneko is unable to accept Eisaku as his son-in-law yet is okay with this. As Tsuneko begins to date Kamibayashi, Eisaku is distressed that his mother is not allowed to date a man other than his father. Tsuneko repeatedly forces Eisaku to inherit Homma Hospital, and then her younger sister Yuki quits her job at another hospital and returns to Homma Hospital after a breakup.
Part 5
The Daikichi Family
Okakura is where Hisamitsu Aoyama, the son of Setsuko's best friend Taki, appears. It is said that he has been painting in India, so he opens a solo exhibition in Okakura's store. Taki is worried about Hisamitsu and Yoko getting married and wants to stop the two from getting married.
Nodaika
Ryo resigns from the company after he takes on the important task of reorganizing the company and fires his colleagues. Akari is hospitalized because she is pregnant, but her aunt Mitsue sarcastically accuses her of being too spoiled. After giving birth, Akari returns to Tokyo with her baby and her courage, unable to forgive Kazuo for abandoning his dream of cultivating hydroponics, and decides to get a divorce.
The Kojima Family
Ai starts working part-time as a waitress without her parents' knowledge, where she meets Masanori Shiroyo and starts dating. Shin and his cousin Takashi take the exam together, but Takashi fails and rudely denies Nonoshita as his father. Kuniko thinks it's all Shin and May's fault and scolds them. Instead of going to high school, Takashi wants to work as a sewer engineer. Kuniko thinks it's too embarrassing to tell him and forbids him to go. Katsu has a crush on Moriyama Junta, who is in the same grade as Kotobayashi and has been abandoned by his father.

Fumiko qualifies to open a travel agency, and as a result of her efforts, Fumiko becomes the director of the travel business and entrusts Komoro to Daikichi to inspect a trip to South America. Hyung is opposed to Fumiko starting a travel agency.
Leaf

Daikichi and Okakura

Yoshi and Yayoi's restaurant is running smoothly, but suddenly Yoshi goes to Sendai to help the president of the company, who is struggling to run the business. Worried about their relationship, Ryo's mother convinced herself to take Ryo back and set off to Sendai.
The Kojima Family
Kenji arrives in May with Mitsuko, who says she wants to get married, and Mitsuko, who is very capable, starts to increase the number of customers for Kouraku's bento sales. The Takahashi Family

Leaf
Leaf still lives with Masako, in a working relationship, and is not ready to step into marriage despite being in a relationship with Soukata. The Homma Family
Ei worked at the hospital in the emergency center, but was hospitalized due to overwork. Tsuneko hopes to educate Hinako to become the heir to Honma Hospital, but instead she becomes less concerned about Hinako when she learns of Yuki's pregnancy. Yuki's husband, Nobuhiko, has his sister admitted to Honma Hospital in Yuki's place, on the grounds that she will not be able to work if she gives birth to and raises a child. However, both Yuki and Tsuneko suspect that Nobuhiko is trying to take advantage of the opportunity to take over Honma Hospital.
Part 7
Okakura Daikichi and Okakura
Junta's father appears in Okakura. He wants to take Junta away because he wants to marry the rich man who runs the company. However, Junta refuses by saying he wants to continue
working as a chef. When Yeh finally decides to get married, Daikichi loses his
enthusiasm for continuing to run the store as there is no one to carry on Okakura's name and Okakura's store.
The Noda family
Akari's ex-husband, Kazuo, visits and says that since all the land and houses in the countryside have been disposed of, he wants to live together in Tokyo from now on. However, Akari
decisively refuses. Kazuo lost his hope and tried to commit suicide. Courage loved and admired Kazuo and felt sorry for him, Yayoi and
Ayon hired Kazuo to work in a restaurant. Knowing that Courage wants to go to kindergarten, Kazuo and Yayoi couple persuade Akari to go to kindergarten although Akari does not accept it
but eventually Courage is allowed to go to kindergarten. Seeing Courage looking up to her father, Akari also finally forgives Kazuo. As Akari voices her desire to remarry
Wazuo, Kazuo says his role as a father is over and leaves Akari's place.
Kojima
Kenji's catering business is growing, but he gets caught up in a poisoning of things because he is barely open for business. Ai takes a job at a bank, but leaves home because she wants to live alone. Minoru leaves OKAKURA in order to get married, and Nagako starts helping out at OKAKURA, feeling that her talent as a translator has reached its limit. When Junta's father tries to commit suicide due to the death of his remarriage partner, Junta quits his job at OKAKURA and becomes HOST.
Noda family
Aryo says he wants to end his job at the hotel and become a horticulturist who focuses on nature in the future. Yayoi is skeptical about the hotel job and plays on the foundation of being a caretaker before she got married and becomes a volunteer at a kindergarten. Through his son Courage, Akari meets Kazuhisa Asada, the father of one of his friends at the kindergarten. Since they are both parents with children, they begin to fall in love with each other.
The Kojima family
Speaking of running Kouraku in place of his mother-in-law Takumi, his sister-in-law Hisako returns from the United States. Mr. and Mrs. Kenji do food service sound independent from Kouraku. However, Hisako secretly lends money to Kenji and takes advantage of the food service business to plot her remarriage to Kenji.
