The sub-district has built 10 kilometers of four fast and two slow urban roads, which are connected with A4 Expressway, City Expressway, R3 Line Light Rail and Pudong Railway, and the grid roads have been formed, and the east exit of Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone of A4 Expressway is located in Fengxian Sub-district.
Through A4 Expressway, it is 37 kilometers away from Xinzhuang, 50 kilometers away from downtown Shanghai, 5 centigrams away from Dating Highway (Suburban Loop), 32 kilometers away from Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, 18 kilometers away from Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway, and 10 kilometers away from Jinshan Petrochemical.
The planned Pudong Railway Freight Station and Municipal Light Railway Station are 1.5 kilometers away from the factory area, 40 kilometers away from the Freight Shanghai Station, and 10 kilometers away from Yeche Station.
Jinhui Harbor is 1.5km east of the sub-district, which is accessible to ships of less than 300 tons and mainly focuses on bulk cargo. Bamboo Harbor is connected to Hangzhou Bay, which has a 100-500-ton wharf.
The sub-district is about 55 kilometers away from Yangshan Deepwater Port, with highways and Pudong Railway connecting the two places, and there are 5,000-25,000-ton marine terminals and 466,000 cubic meters of storage tanks in the development zone.
Large loading and unloading wharf: the large loading and unloading wharf is invested by Shanghai Chemical Industry Development Zone, Shanghai Port Fuxing Shipping Company and Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone Fengxian Sub-district Development Company Limited***, and the maximum loading and unloading capacity of a single piece of equipment is 1,000 tons.
Hangzhou Bay Public Wharf (proposed): 8,000-20,000 tons of public wharf, built in the second phase of the shoreline, with professional port machinery equipment, can provide dedicated berths.
The aviation conditions of the sub-district are also superior: 55 kilometers from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and 55 kilometers from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
The terrain within the planning area of the sub-district is flat, and there are many river networks. The soil of the planning site is mainly sandy soil series, with a PH value of about 8 or more, slightly alkaline and rich in limestone. Ground endurance is 8-10 tons/m2, and land elevation is 3.8-4.0 meters. Water supply and water treatment. There are water supply and sewage treatment systems in the zone, which can be connected to the main water supply pipe of Fengxian Water Supply Company and the water source of Huangpu River, supplying 300,000 tons of water per day. Water pipes are laid along the main roads in the industrial area, and the water quality is up to the standard of drinking water. Industrial and domestic sewage by the Sino-French Water Company centralized treatment, the first 50,000 tons / day has been put into use, the second phase is proposed to build 100,000 tons / day. Industrial and domestic water are separately piped and discharged in a unified manner, and the three waters are separated. Sewage trunk along the Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway to the South Drainage Pipe, unified treatment and then discharged into Hangzhou Bay.
Power supply. Dual circuit power supply, connected to the Starfire trunk line 220,000-volt station and Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone Cao Er 220,000-volt station. A 35,000-volt substation has been built in the area, and the construction requirements will be completed according to the requirement of one 35,000-volt substation for every 2-3 square kilometers.
Heat supply. Sino-foreign joint venture to build a cogeneration project to provide sufficient power and steam to ensure the needs of industrial production. Users can choose between cogeneration and self-built natural gas boilers in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park.
Industrial gas available. With industrial gas joint supply system, industrial gases such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen, oxygen, argon and nitrogen are provided by Price and French Liquid Air.
Natural gas. Connected to the West-East Gas Transmission gas source, its pipeline has been laid to the main road of the industrial zone. A natural gas receiving station is being constructed in the district, which will be completed by the end of 2004. It is planned that the gas will be supplied to the chemical zone from the West-East Gas Pipeline and the East China Sea Gas Oil Field.
Pipe corridor. Arranged according to production needs. Communication. Fengxian Telecommunication Bureau Zhelin Branch has an existing communication system of 20,000 program-controlled telephones (broadband access), and telephone communication within the Fengxian Sub-area is a self-contained system, with IDD communication facilities set up and services such as postal service and express mail provided.
Living and commercial facilities. Supporting staff living room, complete commercial facilities.
Fire Station. It mainly relies on Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone Fire Station and Fengxian District Fire Brigade to provide fire-fighting support for the area.
Schools. On the east side of the development zone, there is a 12-year school affiliated with Shanghai Normal University. The new campuses of Shanghai Normal University and East China University of Science and Technology are also located between the chemical zone and the bay tourism area.
Hospitals. Near the park are Fengxin Town and Zhelin Town-level hospitals, and a larger one is the Nanqiao Town Center Hospital in Fengxian New Town. Shanghai, where Fengxian Sub-District of Chemical Industry Zone is located, is one of the most economically developed cities in mainland China. The tertiary sector accounts for a certain proportion of Shanghai's economy, and the most important industries include finance, real estate, insurance and transportation. Lujiazui in the Pudong New Area is Shanghai's emerging financial center, and the People's Bank of China (PBOC) opened its Shanghai headquarters in August 2005, with the main function of managing open market operations. Some of the world's top 500 companies have already set up their China headquarters, branches and offices in Shanghai. Shanghai has become the city with the highest tax rate in the whole of China, with Shanghai historically paying half of China's total domestic taxes.
Shanghai's industry is well-developed, Shanghai's total industrial output value accounts for one-tenth of the country's total industrial output value, mainly in the light textile, heavy industry, metallurgy, petrochemical industry, machinery, electronics industry, and other automobile, aviation, aerospace and other industries. Zhangjiang Hi-Tech brings together a large number of high-end manufacturing industries. Agriculture accounts for a relatively small proportion of the overall economy, around 1.7 percent.
Pudong Development
Pudong is named after the east bank of the Huangpu River, Shanghai's mother river, which used to be a vast expanse of farmland and fishing villages before the 1990s, with economic and social development lagging far behind that of Puxi. 1990 saw the implementation of the national strategy of developing and opening up Pudong, and 1993 saw the official establishment of the Pudong New Area Administrative Committee. After 17 years of development and construction, Pudong has become the window of China's reform and opening up and the epitome of Shanghai's modernization.
