Shijiazhuang, referred to as "Stone" for short, formerly known as Shimen, is a prefecture-level city and provincial capital under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province, and is one of the important central cities in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, China as determined by the State Council. By 2020, the city will have 8 districts, 1 1 county and 3 county-level cities, with a total area of 14464 square kilometers (including xinji city) and a built-up area of 338.6438+06 square kilometers. Shijiazhuang is located in northern China, south-central Hebei Province, Bohai Bay Economic Zone. It is the political, economic, scientific, technological, financial, cultural and information center of Hebei Province, the headquarters of the Army in the Central Theater, the city approved by the State Council to implement coastal opening and financial opening to the outside world, an important commodity distribution center in China, an important commercial port in the north, one of the national trade exhibition center cities, the permanent venue of the China International Digital Economy Expo and a part of the China (Hebei) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
