At present, Chongqing has built large animation bases such as Shimei and Gaoxin, and has a large number of outstanding animation enterprises such as Shimei Animation Company, Manxiang Animation Company, Chongqing Perfect Power, Sasaki Bear Animation Industry and Hong Xiang Company. There are 30 animation enterprises, 2 animation enterprises, 4 game enterprises, derivatives, education and training and other peripheral industrial enterprises 12, with nearly 10,000 employees, basically forming a reasonable division of labor between upstream and downstream of the animation industry chain.

Chongqing animation industry has a good momentum of development. On the one hand, the whole industrial chain is short of talents from creativity to marketing, which leads to the fault of animation development synergy; On the other hand, in the absence of pre-market research and post-marketing promotion, rushing into the creative stage has obvious market defects, which not only affects the in-depth promotion of the animation image, but also frustrates the extension of the animation industry, leading to the animation industry doing short-term processing at the low end.
2. Animation products have a single sales channel.
Most animation enterprises in Chongqing regard TV as the main battlefield of content output, and are not good at developing new media output platforms such as networks and mobile phones, and they compete fiercely for the broadcast channels of movies (especially TV). Although the country is vigorously supporting the local animation industry, Chinese people's understanding of animation is still at a relatively shallow stage, resulting in a serious shortage of social output talents.
Usually, it takes about 52 professional technicians to make a 20-minute two-dimensional animated film. According to the average speed in the design and production of original comics, it takes 37 days to complete the original design of an episode of comics, and it takes about 2 months to finally complete an episode of comics. This shows that animation is indeed a production-intensive industry that consumes a lot of manpower and time.
The shortage of animation talents, especially the shortage of compound animation talents and original talents who are proficient in artistic expression and computer multimedia technology, has become a key factor restricting the development of China's animation industry. This contradiction makes the development of animation industry in China unsustainable.
2. Requirements for animation talents' positions and abilities
Through the investigation of some animation enterprises in Chongqing, it is found that the demand for talent training in the animation industry has changed greatly.
Screenwriters and directors, from pure two-dimensional animation to paperless animation and three-dimensional computer animation, play an important role in animation production, and the demand in the talent market is not large, so it is unrealistic for fresh vocational graduates to compete for these two positions. These two jobs are often only a few people in an animation enterprise, and they are basically held by senior personnel with very rich industry experience and industry knowledge background.
