Plot:
The story takes place on a luxury cruise ship between Japan and Hong Kong, where there is a popular Chinese restaurant called "Ping Ping Lou", and one of the main characters, who has been relegated to the ship's kitchen because of a lack of success at the head office, is trying to return to the head office by bringing in seven people with the title of "King of Food". One of our protagonists, Shio Orange (Kyoka Suzuki), who is in charge of the ship's kitchen, plans to bring in seven famous chefs with the title of "King of Food" in order to return to the head office. As a result, all the chefs of "Ping Ping Lou" resisted and resigned from the ship, while the "King of Food" failed to board the ship due to a misunderstanding. So when the honorable captain came to the kitchen in order to get a glimpse of the famous chef's style, Orange Sister, who was already on the verge of a breakdown, simply put her heart on the line and identified the seven people who happened to be in the kitchen at the same time due to a variety of reasons (including even herself at first, and later on, Ayakoji Gonghiko, played by Ishiguro Ken, who topped them all) as the "King of Eaters," and the events that unfolded after that were exactly the same as the beginning of the TV series. The development since then has been a fulfillment of the phrase "Sometimes in life, miracles happen", which begins the drama in a poorly-executed Cantonese dialect.
