Outdoor sports is a comprehensive way of sports, leisure and entertainment, which is increasingly loved and popularized by modern people. Here are some outdoor sports knowledge collected by me for your reference.

33 tips on outdoor sports equipment configuration

1, (highly recommended! ) Another use of towels. It is the most common cotton towel, the thicker one. Put it on your back before strenuous exercise to absorb sweat, and take it out immediately after the exercise. You will feel very comfortable, and your underwear will dry much faster. It is better to cooperate with sweat-wicking underwear. Take a few more pieces and change them several times.

2. Cheap chemical fiber underwear. I once saw someone climbing a mountain in ordinary thermal underwear, which was horrible! Special sweat-wicking underwear is the best. If you don't have it for the time being, don't wear cotton. Go to a stall or supermarket to find that kind of chemical fiber (usually acrylic) underwear. Although it can't catch up with sweat-wicking underwear, it is much better than needle cotton underwear!

3. (Highly recommended! ) Reject jeans. Actually, I don't need to say much about this, but I have noticed that there are still many novices playing outdoors in jeans. Probably some people still think that jeans are durable and strong. In fact, cotton products are neither strong nor wear-resistant, and their physical properties are not suitable for outdoor sports. Once it rains, wades or sweats a lot, you will know the disadvantages of jeans. Take it off quickly, even wearing a pair of chemical fiber trousers with more than 21 yuan is better than it.

4. Selection of shoe size. Almost all the teaching materials say that the size of hiking shoes should be 1 to 1.5, but my experience is not the same. My experience of wearing shoes has always been that the new shoes are tight and the old shoes are loose, and the morning is tight and the evening is loose. The longer I travel, the looser I am. Therefore, I think that you must not buy too big shoes. Too big shoes are uncomfortable and easy to blister, and the best fit is. Of course, the first question is to try on shoes with thick socks.

5. Shoelaces come loose easily. This little problem is annoying, but it can be solved by tying it with a rubber band. Or use the small section of the cable of various household appliances to tie the line, which can be tied more firmly.

6. The insole is wrinkled. Many people have encountered the problem that insoles are wrinkled in shoes. I have an idea: cut a nylon chopping board (which is very thin, translucent and bendable, the key is the material, similar) into the shape of insoles, and then simply sew it together with insoles, OK, and solve it completely. In addition, I recommend a kind of so-called health insole sold in the supermarket, with particles on the surface, and the brand is forgotten. As long as it costs a few dollars, it is stronger than the insole bought in the outdoor shop for dozens of dollars. Some people may have doubts about its particles. Don't worry, it is this particle that is comfortable.

7, the life gate of the jacket. As long as the quality is ok, the structure of the jacket is strictly waterproof, but it has a cuff. The jacket I have seen has no glue at the joint between the cuff and the sleeve. After a long time in the rain, there will be water seepage here. Archaeopteryx is a well-designed place, but it's too expensive to buy, so I haven't found a good solution to this problem yet. Fortunately, my forearm doesn't sweat much, so I need a plastic bag to deal with it.

8, (highly recommended! ) liberation shoes. This is really a very cost-effective thing. Cheap, good anti-skid, small size. No matter how good the hiking shoes on your feet are, you must change them to relax when camping at night, right? Hundreds of wading shoes have an unavoidable problem in the stream: the mesh of the upper always gets sand, but liberation shoes are quite important. (However, the protection of liberation shoes is too poor, and it hurts my feet after wearing them for a long time)

9. (Highly recommended! ) find the way. Unless you originally planned to cross a no-man's land, and you are prepared to open your own way in terms of materials and ideas, don't force your way through a place where there is obviously no road, whether you can't find a way for the time being or you plan to take a shortcut. Not only can you get hurt, but you can't save time and energy at all. It is wise to turn around honestly and continue to find the existing road. You can try a few more times if you don't believe me.

11, (for reference only) marching rhythm. I see a lot of sayings: March for 31 minutes and rest for 5 minutes, or March for one hour and rest for 11 minutes. Personally, I think this can only be used as a reference. Everyone's physical strength and habits are different, and the suitable rhythm is different. The rhythm is relatively fast. The most enjoyable way to walk is to keep walking for about 3 hours and rest for 21 minutes (horizontal movement). In addition, as far as the arrangement of a few days is concerned, it is best to be slow on the first day and return to normal the next day. You must get used to it, otherwise it will be very uncomfortable.

11, (for reference only) stride length problem. Most textbooks say that you should step with smaller strides, but my experience is different. I am used to using larger strides (slightly larger than usual) during long-term travel, which makes me feel more relaxed. Because the total number of steps is reduced, it may be beneficial to reduce the wear of the soles of the feet? )

12. Don't take off your shoes during the break. Walking for a long time will definitely make your feet swollen, and once you take off your shoes, it will be uncomfortable to wear them again.

13. The backpack is waterproof. The mountaineering bag itself is waterproof to some extent, and the rain cover is also an indispensable and useful thing. However, if you have been continuously drenched by rain for more than three or four hours, you will know that the rain cover is not completely reliable. Although the waterproof bag is good, its capacity is limited. It is recommended to wrap clothes and sleeping bags in large plastic bags (the kind packed by household appliances, which is large enough). It is even more necessary to do so in upstream activities.

14. (Highly recommended) How to pack a sleeping bag. Most people like to pack sleeping bags in compression bags. Wrong! This method has long been abandoned. Anyway, the sleeping bag is placed at the bottom layer, so you don't need extra packaging. Just stuff it into your backpack, and then just press it hard. Only in this way can we make full use of the space, and the packed bag is full inside and full in appearance.

15, GPS and compass. This topic is actually a bit redundant, because many people have already talked about it. GPS is a good thing and very professional. Unfortunately, there are too many restrictive factors in its use: too much power consumption, too easily influenced by weather and terrain, and slow response.

Many people also like to carry military compasses, and the more popular ones are Type 62 and Type 65. It is recommended to use a compass for orienteering (actually, it is not for professional orienteering, but for plexiglass, which is about the same size as a mobile phone). In fact, the military compass is not suitable for outdoor use, and it is too heavy. The functions of slope meter, odometer, speed dial, precise orientation and ranging are not very useful. The directional cross-country compass is light, simple and practical, and the quality of twenty or thirty yuan is good enough.

16, open knife. Of course, the dog's leg is very imposing, but it's too powerful for an old cow to drive a rabbit away against the flexible thorns and weeds on the mountain road. Cutting down trees is certainly good, but personally, as long as it is not panicum miliaceum, they should not be touched. I use a Swedish ASE, which is long, thin, thin, light and sharp, and it is very easy to open the road.

17, water bag nozzle. The mouthpiece of the platypus water bag is bare and easy to get dirty, and it is easy to squeeze out water to wet the back when the backpack is put on the shoulder carelessly. The suction nozzle of this water pipe can be pulled off, and it is easy to make a cover with a plastic box containing film. It is recommended to use Fuji, and the white translucent one is more eye-catching.

18, kettle. To be coquettish and show that you are an outdoor donkey, Laken and SIGG are necessary and practical, and the military pot is the best. Cost-effective, very strong. LAKEN and SIGG are a little lighter, but they are flat when hit, and the cork slips easily. Besides, do you need to keep a pot of water for a week before drinking? Of course, the drink bottle is also very good.

19, stainless steel small mouth cup. They are sold in supermarkets. 7cm caliber is more suitable, and it costs a few dollars, so it won't wear out. Use this when camping, and use a water bag with a straw when traveling, which is a very good match. When not in use, hang it on your backpack with small pieces, and it is also convenient to scoop water in the stream on the way.

21. Sunglasses. Generally, it is not necessary. A hat with eaves is enough. There is really nothing dazzling in the mountains. Sunglasses are essential in ice and snow areas, but you may need a snow goggles more then, and it must be fog-proof. At low temperature, snow goggles that can't prevent fog is basically waste.

21. Simple crampons. The so-called four-tooth crampons are cheap and simple, only a few tens of dollars. Those with high DIY level can make one by themselves. The name of this thing is crampons, but few people really use four teeth on snowy mountains. On ordinary mountain roads, this simple thing can play a key role when the road surface is very slippery. Personally, I think hiking poles can be carried without this thing.

22, light box cloth. The mat is mainly used in winter to prevent the bottom and bottom of the tent from freezing together in snow and ice weather. It is recommended to pull a little advertising light box cloth in a signboard shop instead. There are several colors, which are very cheap and strong, but the disadvantage is that the proportion is a little large.

23. Disposable tablecloth. The film type used in low-end restaurants is sold in supermarkets. It is cheap, light and versatile.

24. zippo lighter. Many people think that zippo has something to do with the outdoors. In fact, it doesn't work outdoors, which is far worse than disposable lighters. Let's leave it at home and use it once! And take a few more and put them in different places

25. Map protection. Make a copy first (color printing is best), and use this picture for marking on the way. Then buy some glass film from the decoration shop, which is flowerless and transparent, or buy some transfer film (in fact, glass film) from the signboard shop, and smooth and stick the original map on it, and the original will become waterproof and strong.

26, labor gloves. Now there is a kind of rubber-coated gloves in the labor insurance shop. The gloves themselves are made of cotton thread, and the palms and fingers are covered with a thick and soft layer of rubber (most of the rubber is yellow and some are white). This kind of gloves is rough in workmanship, but it is better in anti-slip and puncture resistance than any labor gloves, and it is also very comfortable to wear.

27. butterscotch and chocolate. These two things have obvious effects when used to temporarily replenish physical strength. Once you feel short of physical strength due to excessive consumption and lack of supply on the way, you can eat a few pieces and it will have an effect after ten minutes. Of course, you can eat them when you don't feel short of physical strength. Now there is a supermarket called? Dried milk tablets? Our dairy products, in the form of tablets, are also very good.

many pharmacies can also buy oral glucose granules, and it is also a good idea to mix some of this stuff in a kettle. Of course, there are special foods now, energy bars and so on. I haven't tried them, and I don't know how they are.

28. drink water. The book has never said that you should not drink water when you are thirsty. No matter how you drink it, the water demand of the human body is certain, and it is possible to waste it even if you are not thirsty.

29. Don't prepare too much food. In fact, you can't finish it at all. How many of these things have entered the stomach and played a role? We are playing outdoor sports, not organizing dinner parties, nor training for survival in the wild. Which place we are going to is really no man's land? You can only eat a part of these things, and the rest are either given to farmers' friends or sacrificed to the land father-in-law halfway. Remember: don't take your backpack as a pawn? Supermarket? .

31. How much clothes to wear to sleep. The experience I heard before is that wearing too much clothes makes me cold when sleeping, and wearing less clothes makes me warm when sleeping. Later, it was found that this was simply wrong! It's definitely warmer to wear more clothes. If the temperature scale of your sleeping bag is not high enough, you'd better sleep in a woolen sweater. Of course, wearing too many sleeping bags will be too tight and uncomfortable.

31. cut your nails. This is mainly for mm. Don't leave long nails in hard outdoor activities, which will affect your work, and it is easy to hide evil people and shelter evil people, and it is also easy to get hurt.

32. Prevention and treatment of foot blistering. Don't say that the shoes fit. If you find that the soles of your feet are uncomfortable and the local position is burning during the journey, it is generally a precursor to blistering. It is best not to take any chances, and quickly put enough gauze and adhesive tape on the edge of the pain to change the stress on the soles of your feet. If you have a blister, it is necessary to puncture it and drain it (the old man taught you to put a ponytail on the blister), but don't cut off the skin of the blister, or you will die of pain when you walk the next day!

33, potassium permanganate. This thing is versatile. In addition to disinfection, it is also an emetic. If you eat something poisonous, melt some water and throw up immediately. In addition, few people know that it is also a very effective external snake medicine, which can quickly neutralize snake venom (both neurotoxic and blood toxic). Immediately after being bitten by a snake, bind and remove the broken teeth, and expand the wound with a small dao (not too deep! ), and then fill the wound with potassium permanganate powder (a small amount is enough), and then continue other first aid for a while.

the key to packing is to know the equipment

distribute the weight reasonably

Generally, it is best to concentrate the weight of the backpack on the hips to avoid the weight falling on the shoulders or back. And no matter what terrain you walk on, try to keep heavy objects close to your back and keep your center of gravity between your shoulders.

Walking on an ordinary mountain road, you can put heavy items on the top of your backpack, which helps to concentrate on your hips, which is the part of your body that can bear heavy burdens. (as shown in Figure 1)

If you walk on the rugged and difficult adventure road, you should use the opposite strategy, and put the heavier items in the middle of the main cabin of the backpack, so that the weight can be distributed to the shoulders and back, so that the center of gravity can be reduced and it is easier to maintain balance. (as shown in Figure 2)

Tighten all the compression belts to limit the sliding of the equipment in the backpack. Sliding will move the center of gravity of the backpack and easily make people lose their balance. There should be as few things tied outside your backpack as possible, otherwise it will affect your balance when you travel. Protect the equipment hanging outside, and don't let them shake and collide with each other to make a clicking sound. If you take part in a team activity, you should distribute the weight to other members reasonably, and don't let yourself become a pack horse unintentionally, so as to save your strength.

Girls or people with short stature habitually put heavy things on the bottom of their backpacks no matter what terrain they walk on. It doesn't matter. After all, what kind of packaging style you adopt ultimately depends on yourself. The first condition is that you feel comfortable and convenient. Make sure that some items are placed where they can be easily taken out, instead of "rummaging through". Such as maps, compasses, sunglasses, insect-repellent drugs, snacks, kettles, headlights or flashlights, raincoats and backpacks.

backpack decomposition

tent: tent is divided into three parts: tent, tent pole and ground nail. These three parts are rolled together when buying, but don't put them in the bag as they are, because the long tent makes the remaining space in the bag narrow, and it is not easy to fill other items, and it is not easy to distribute the weight and keep the center of gravity of the backpack in the middle.

The suggested way is to fold the account like a quilt, tighten it with a flat belt or pack it with a compression bag, and the ground nails are also sandwiched in the account (the ground nails must be covered with a protective cover to avoid damaging the account). The folded account is suggested to be placed on the top of the backpack, which is more in line with the camping order. In the camp, tents are often set up before other things are done, and when the camp is evacuated, the things in the tent are packed before the tent is folded.

the tent pole should be placed along the side of the backpack near the back (at this time, the compartment of the backpack should be relaxed so that the tent pole can be inserted into the bottom of the backpack). The tent pole can be hung on both sides of the backpack, but it is better to put it in the backpack when walking in the jungle, mainly to better protect the tent pole.

scattered articles: scattered articles are uneven in volume and different in weight and texture, so the filling methods are also different.
