How many days must I pay off my salary after leaving my job?
Legal analysis: The Labor Law does not stipulate how long it takes to settle wages after leaving the job, and the employer shall pay the wages to the workers in one lump sum when dissolving or terminating the labor contract. Wages must be paid on the date agreed by employers and employees. In case of holidays or rest days, payment should be made in advance on the nearest working day. Wages are paid at least once a month. If the weekly, daily and hourly wage system is implemented, wages can be paid by the week, day and hour. If the employer refuses to settle accounts, it may apply for labor arbitration. If economic compensation should be paid to the workers, it should be paid when the work handover is completed.

Legal basis: Article 50 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Labor Contract Law. The employing unit shall issue a certificate of dissolution or termination of the labor contract at the time of dissolution or termination, and go through the formalities for the transfer of files and social insurance relations for employees within 15 days. Laborers shall handle the work handover according to the agreement of both parties. If the employing unit should pay economic compensation to the workers in accordance with the relevant provisions of this law, it should pay it when the work handover is completed. The employing unit shall keep the text of the dissolved or terminated labor contract for at least two years for future reference.
