The main responsibilities of Ningbo Yinzhou District Environmental Protection Bureau
(1) Implement the guidelines, policies, laws, regulations and environmental standards for environmental protection formulated by the state, provinces and municipalities; Formulate environmental protection plans and organize their implementation; To participate in the formulation of medium-and long-term plans, annual plans, regional economic development plans, industrial development plans and resource conservation and comprehensive utilization plans for economic and social development in the region; Manage the environmental statistics and environmental information work in this region.

(2) Supervise, manage and organize the implementation of environmental protection work such as atmosphere, water body and soil; To supervise and manage the pollution prevention and control of waste water, waste gas, solid waste, dust, malodorous gas, toxic chemicals, noise, vibration, radioactive and electromagnetic radiation and motor vehicles within their respective jurisdictions; Responsible for environmental management of toxic chemicals.

(three) to guide, coordinate and supervise the marine environmental protection work in the whole region; Supervise and manage the prevention and control of environmental damage in coastal waters such as ecological environmental protection, coastal engineering and land-based pollutants.

(four) to organize the implementation of the sewage declaration and registration system, the sewage permit system, the sewage charge system and the "three simultaneities" system of environmental management; To be responsible for the examination and approval of environmental protection for development and construction within its jurisdiction; Organize the implementation of the environmental target responsibility system; Responsible for the management and use of environmental protection subsidy funds; Supervise and manage the use of special funds for pollution control.

(five) to organize environmental monitoring and administrative law enforcement, and to supervise and inspect the discharge of pollution sources and the operation of pollution control facilities in the whole region according to law; Investigate and deal with violations of environmental protection laws and regulations, causing pollution and ecological damage; Dealing with pollution disputes according to law.

(six) to supervise and inspect the environmental protection work of nature reserves, drinking water protection areas and scenic spots in this area; Supervise biodiversity protection, wildlife protection and wetland environmental protection; Responsible for protecting the rural ecological environment and guiding the construction of ecological agriculture; Supervise the resource development activities that have an impact on the ecological environment in the region.

(seven) to organize environmental monitoring in the region, grasp the present situation and development trend of environmental quality, put forward relevant improvement policies and measures, and organize their implementation; Prepare environmental quality report and issue environmental status announcement.

(eight) the organization of environmental protection science and technology development and innovation, scientific research and technology demonstration projects; Organize the certification of environmental management system and environmental label and the supervision and management after certification; Organize the implementation of environmental protection qualification accreditation system; Guide and promote the development of environmental protection industry; Guide cleaner production; Manage and coordinate international cooperation, exchange and implementation of environmental protection. (9) Organize environmental protection publicity and education, and guide and train the professional work of town (township) environmental protection personnel.

(10) To undertake other tasks assigned by the district government and superior business departments.
