This 800-meter-long project, which aims to restore the former "merchants of tea and horses", is mainly composed of Tangar Street and Shengfeng Street, and runs through the buildings such as the City God Temple, Tangar Hall, Confucian Temple, shops and Huozu Pavilion. On the basis of protecting the original building, it is divided into three functional areas: cultural relics exhibition area, tourism shopping area and catering and leisure area. The main scenic spots such as entrance square, Confucian Temple Square, Huozuge Square, East-West Gate, three archways, four houses, museums, folk exhibition halls, Tangjia Hall, foreign firm, Confucian Temple, Changyao Memorial Hall, Qiangdi Music Palace Auditorium, Huozuge, more than 600 shops and stone mills, stone mills, shadow play, patrols and the restoration and construction of camels with strong national cultural characteristics. At present, the restoration project has completed an investment of 654.38 billion yuan and a construction area of 28,000 square meters. People seem to see crowded chariots and horses, many shops and merchants, and a vibrant scene.
The restored ancient city of Tangar has been officially opened to the outside world, attracting a large number of tourists. Lantern arrangement, paper-cutting, folk art, sheepskin embroidery, and folk art and cultural activities such as "Hua 'er" meeting, Chaoshan meeting, temple fair, Fa meeting, cave worship and sea worship are rich and colorful, adding rich cultural connotations to the ancient city. Among them, Huangyuan Paideng has been included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection list and has become a treasure of Qinghai national folk culture and art.
